My sessions at Body Realm Center with Qiana are an essential part of my self-care journey. Scheduling a session with her is my way to pour back into myself, to respect my body by allowing it to unwind, and to heal myself on a mental, spiritual, and physical level. Receiving a massage is such a vulnerable thing. As a woman, feeling safe and feeling a sense of trust with anyone that I give permission to touch my body is of the utmost importance. Her hands are strong and she incorporated some ART (active release technique) as well as deep tissue massage into the massage. I just had the best prenatal massage with Jill. She asked me a lot of questions and really took her time to understand how my pregnancy was going and issues that I may currently be having. She made sure I was comfortable and applied just the right amount of pressure. She is such a great massage therapist. Every single time I have been to see Qiana, I have walked out feeling better, often for weeks afterwards. She spends extra time informing me about what I can do to address muscular imbalances and range-of-motion inadequacies on my own time, and this is all in addition to the fact that this lady can give a BOMB massage.
