My insurance changed, and I was in need of a new chiropractor who accepted my plan. I've seen a few chiropractors in the past and have seen a lot of benefit from treatment to maintain my back, neck, and knees. When looking at reviews, Dr. Bamdad seemed to be a very experienced chiropractor with awesome client experiences, but I found his care to be seriously lacking, his demeanor unfriendly, and his adjustments somewhat violent. I will not go back. I saw him a few times in the course of the past year, and he never took much time to evaluate my pain or my current physical condition. Although I'm generally a friendly, easygoing person, he seemed annoyed by my presence, and gave off a sense of superiority and irritability. In our brief conversations, he made inappropriate references to his ex-wife, and showed no interest in myself or my specific needs. My hands-on adjustments were no longer than 3 minutes, for which I was happy because his hurried adjustments were uncomfortable and felt overly aggressive and angry. When he was adjusting me and he didn't get a response/crack he liked, he just used more force and made me feel like something was wrong with me. I was worried I might be injured. read more

Had some discomfort from hip and heel due to inflamed Achilles tendinitis. There was so much pain with every step I took. Found Dr Bamdad through Yelp and was so grateful I did. Sue made it so easy to schedule an appointment. Location is great and easy to find. Dr Bamdad immediately knew what the issue may was based on the way I walked into his office. He immediately adjusted my pelvic bone and the pain I had just disappeared. The pain I had when I walked was no longer there. He's amazing at what he does and is very informative. Definitely will be returning. read more

I try to go here atleast once a month. They're welcoming and always greet everyone w/ smile even their busy.

I recently had my first chiropractic adjustment ever and after weighing the options, I selected Dr. Alex Bamdad. I couldn't have picked a better chiropractor if I tried. After the start of the session, I felt instantaneous relief in my neck, which opened up a world of relief down my spine. He also noted that I didn't need any programs or anything, and allowed me to come in as needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Alex, whether it be for basic adjustments to relieve minor pain or tightness, or if you have an injury and are doing anything you can to limit your time under a surgeon's scalpel. read more

The best chiropractor in the area. I've had back pain on and off for years. Came to Dr. Bambad a couple of months ago through the introduction of a friend when I was experiencing severe pain and was having problems being mobile. He was able to get me better just after 2 adjustments. He's attentive, gentle with adjustments and his office is very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended for everyone who's looking for a new doctor. read more

He is by far the best Chiropractor I've met! No wonder he gets 5 star reviews. He's honest and listen to your problem. I've been to other Chiros but he's by far the best! I had a severe low back problem and it came to the point that I couldn't even walk. I searched for chiros around me and I'm glad I found him. After 2 sessions, I was already walking with no struggle and even Dr. Bamdad was surprised. He's work is like magic, I would recommend him with a heartbeat. If u are in need for adjustments or any fix, go to Dr. Bamdad, you'll be surprised of his work. read more

I came into Dr Bamdad's office from a recommendation, as I assume most of his business comes from referrals since he is THAT GOOD. I've been to numerous chiropractors, all of which felt more like salesmen with no experience rather than wellness doctors. He "listens", this is very important as every patient is different. I came to him with Degenerative Disc Disease issues. He tuned me up and had me feeling better Immediately. After every session I feel stronger, better, happier and more than anything HOPEFUL. Back pain is a serious issue that for some is chronic, he made me feel more comfortable knowing I could come to him to help me with my pain whenever it arises and that I am not at this alone. Go to HIM immediately, stop reading other reviews or other chiropractors. Don't waste your time anywhere else. read more

First time ever visiting a Chiro, and i have to say what a wonderful experience here. Dr. Alex gets straight to the point. Asks about pain, history, and assesses before he tells you what is wrong. Extremely professional when doing his work. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good Chiropractor. Gave me great advice on how frequent to come back and what to look out for. Sue at the front desk was lovely too. Thank you both! read more

Dr. Alex Bamdad and Sue are genuinely caring professionals. They are both very cheerful and pleasant every time I come in their office. Their service is prompt and thorough. I was experiencing severe back pain and discovered Dr Bamdad via an insurance search with the highest rating. He and his staff are truly remarkable and affable. the front desk, ( I forgot her name), she was incredible. Wow, I'm surprised I've never left a review for Dr. Bamdad! By far, the best chiro I've been to. No frills, no fuss or muss, gets to the point and his work is always magic. I've never been dissatisfied with his service. His one and only staff member/receptionist/office manager/greeter/etc is always a joy to see as well with her beautiful and warm smile. Go see Dr. Bamdad, you will not be disappointed. read more

Thank goodness I finally found a pro! No one else could read my x-rays properly but Dr. Bamdad spotted the problem right away. The x-rays were blurry and dark but that didn't keep him from spotting a 25 year old injury while correctly identifying the current one. I had forgotten about that old injury until he spotted it. I know it sounds cliche but they do make you feel like family. They are there to take care of you. It's the best of both worlds when it comes to treatment. Having to undergo any sort of treatment for an injury is not something you want to do but these people make it as good as it gets. Thank you, guys! You're the best! read more

Dr Bamdad saved me from a very bad upper back pain from spending too much time on my laptop. Very professional and amicable front desk desk person as well. Super clean office/practice... will be back soon. read more

Fixed my posture after 1 visit. The last time I went to the chiropractor was 10 years ago and I left feeling worse then before and my neck has been messed up ever since so I was skeptical about trying this again. My neck and upper back have been killing me and I've been working to fix my posture cuz I slouch really bad. Dr. Bamdad adjusted me and when I stood up I felt taller I was able to stand up straight without having to try or tell myself. And unlike other chiropractors he didn't try and get me to come back every week jus to get money. Instead he said to call the day before I needed to come back again and that I should try and get mri for my neck. Definitely recommended read more

I had severe lower back pain, which was getting worse. A friend recommended dr. Bamdad. I visited the office, and was surprised by the clean and relaxing environment, the friendly reception, and the calming and comforting presence of Dr. Bamdad. After listening to me explain the symptoms, he not only got totally rid of the pain in just a few sessions, but he also gave me a couple of useful tips and tricks to help prevent the problem from re-occurring. I recently visited his office again, this time for neck and shoulder pain (due to spending too much time on a laptop in a not-so-ergonomic setup). And it was pretty much the same thing: In just 2 session, I was back to normal...I guess Lightning can strike twice in the same spot :-) Highly recommended. Two big thumbs up! read more

Dr. Alex is the best! I've had other chiropractors in the past, none come close to Dr. Alex Bamdad. I always feel great leaving his office. This place is very clean, professional and relaxing. I fall asleep every time lol. read more

I have been going to Chiropractors for twenty years now and i have see a variety of them. I would say that not only is he the best that I have seen but he truly cares about his patients' well being. I've been going to Dr Alex for over 9 years now even when I moved to Stockton; yes, Stockton. Not to discredit any others but he truly knows each patient's needs and is very knowledgeable about the human anatomy. He will not treat you for something that isn't necessary and will always give you his professional advise if he thinks that he cannot treat you. He always treats you as if you were a long time friend and is always pleasant once you walk through his doors. To know that you can go to someone that will make you feel 100% is priceless to me. I hope everyone who reads this will definitely walk through his doors because you won't regret it. If there were more stars to give this man I would. read more

It's been years since I've been coming to Dr. Bamdad and I refuse to see anyone else. He is great at what he does and truly gets to know his patients and their needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've become such a regular throughout the years that I just give him a quick call before I come by. He always makes sure I feel better when I leave. I can't say enough about how great he is and recommend it to anyone who asks about who my go to chiropractor is. He takes his time and I never feel like he's in a rush to treat me. He is truly amazing and his office is in a very convenient location with plenty of parking and walking distance from the San Bruno BART station. read more

Where to start?!?...I encountered a very bad back injury in my early 20's at the gym and never saw anyone for it...I've been an active gym goer and sports player my whole life, so when the my back pain never returned all throughout my 20's I figured I was in the clear...Nope!! Now I'm in my 30's and BAM!! I twisted to sweep the floor (something we all do without even thinking) and that very normal move caused my legs to give out and I fell to the floor. For weeks I could hardly move, could barely put my clothes on and was in intense pain to the point of sweating from pain while I was at work...For the first time I was actually scared that I'd never be the same again. So that's when my partner told me, "Go to the Chiropractor!!" I was resistant...somewhere I had in in my head that chiropractors are all fake and just want your money...but I was in so much pain, I thought, why not!?! So I started researching Chiropractors on Yelp, sifting through reviews and specifically looking for people mentioning Athletic Injuries... That's when I came across Dr. Bamdad. All he had to do was watch me walk (hunch backed due to severe spasms) and he knew exactly what was wrong with me. He was very Honest, Direct and Caring. He performed some stretches on me that day and I immediately felt better!! I was actually starting to stand straight again... He gave me very specific directions on what To Do and what Not To Do to ensure we created a pathway to a healthier back... I still get sore an stiff in my lower back through just daily activities, but now I know what to "listen for." I now know the "warning signs" that it's time to see Dr. Bamdad. I am very grateful for Dr. Bamdad and you will be too. read more

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Bamdad for over 10 years. He is professional, thorough and is genuinely concerned for his patients. Other chiropractors often try to "upsell" services even if such services aren't necessary. We've never had a problem with making appointments and are even often seen as a walk-in. He's an asset to the community. read more
