I originally found Han after an acd spinal fusion surgery. I was not thrilled with the physical therapy I had originally worked with after surgery, and was having issues with plantar fasciitis, too. I was just getting back into weight lifting and needed someone I could check in with regularly, get soft tissue treatment (graston technique) to deal with any acute issues. I have had a previous chiro perform graston technique with great success, and wanted someone closer to home that was skilled with this method. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. Let me just start off by saying I've been going to a chiropractor for the past 10 years pretty consistently about once a week. I swear by it!! I was able to make a last minute appointment since I have been experiencing back pain for the last few weeks. The receptionist was professional, courteous and she was able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. I saw Dr. Kim and he did an examination of the back and explained the condition that it was in. I had few a knots and it was extremely stiff due to the nature of my job. Oh my God this guy is amazing! People have choices there's so many services out there and to walk into an office where there waterfalls and aromatherapy and people have their cell phones off prior to your session is fabulous. I was in a severe car accident and had another chiropractor Prior to this. It was like a cattle call 5 justement tables and he would run through them so quickly run through us are treatment with his Gucci shoes on. I have been suffering from Achilles Tendonitis for over a year now. Four months of Physical Therapy did not help nor did the orthotic support that my podiatrist had ordered. I didn't know that chiropractors also treated tendonitis. I bumped into Dr. Kim's name by accident. I went to the massage place next door and happen to mention my condition and the lady in the front office had recommended Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim evaluated my condition and had explained the treatment he would perform thoroughly. I have seen him 3 times, and I have already felt an improvement. He's extremely helpful! He went an extra mile to research what my insurance could cover with my condition. Hence, I ended up with this electronic muscle stimulator that eases my tendonitis pain. He is also very accommodating! I knew I was taking advantage of him by bringing up other issues besides my tendonitis, and he was pleasant enough to check and go through them with me. Most of all, I like the fact that he is very honest and spends ample of time with his patients. I have seen other chiropractors before whereby they'd spend full hour on your first visit, but would wind down to half hour or maybe even less on your 2nd and so forth visits - not Dr. Kim. I have been going to the adjacent Young Again for years for massages, but when I got ambitious with one of my workouts, and felt a pop in the back of my left shoulder, I knew I should make an appointment with Dr. Kim. But I was stubborn, and put it off. Over weeks, that injury compounded into poor posture which then turned into numbness, constant tingling, and shooting pains in both wrists and forearms! I also lost all pulling ability on my left side. I couldn't even do one pull up when I used to rep these out with no problem. I finally came to the conclusion that my pain needed to be addressed beyond normal massage. Dr. Han Kim to the rescue. I came into the appointment stressed and significantly concerned that my body was definitely handicapped in this condition. I am telling Dr. Kim, no, more like dumping my greatest fears if I were to continue like this on him. I am upset my body is not responding the way it is supposed to! I've been coming to Young Again for years for the great massages. But recently, I've been into a car accident and needed to be checked out by a chiropractor. So why not get checked out by Dr. Kim right inside here at Young Again? He's amazing! He was so accommodating by referring me a lawyer to handle my accident claim, as well as made sure the chiropractic services was properly documented for my insurance. Initially, I came in experiencing some ankle pain from the impact of slamming the breaks during the accident, but he went ahead and did a full exam and noted that there was additional soft tissue work needed on my neck and shoulders, as well as my lower back. I didn't even feel any pain, but he explained to me that sometimes people don't even experience the pain until as much as a whole year after the incident, so it would be best to address the issue now than later before it turns into a lasting problem. Needless to say, the ankle pain went away after only a few weeks of treatments and of course my shoulders feel great! after trying another chiropractor 4 times over the course of a month and not seeing much progress to address several pain areas i decided to check out dr kim who was listed as in network for my medical insurance. the initial consultation was very thorough - you basically fill out a several page questionnaire that includes a lot about your health history, state of mind, areas of where you are feeling pain, etc. first 30 minutes of the consultation dr kim asked several questions to get an idea of what issues i had and wanted to address with chiropractic therapy and the rest of the time he worked his magic. i have lower back, neck, shoulder and elbow pain. over the course of several sessions dr kim targeted these areas with various techniques such as using deep tissue work, graston massage and having me perform different strength exercises and stretches mixed in with chiropractic adjustments. i have never been cracked so much compared to other dr's ive seen in the past. he also made me aware of different areas to work on at home that could be contributing to the pain ive felt which is something that many dr's ive seen skipped. the sessions are very educational for me and satisfying at the same time. each session tends to be different from the last in that he's constantly using different techniques and not just focusing on adjustments which many dr's tend to do. after several sessions, i can honestly say that ive felt a lot better than ive ever felt in terms of the pain ive been experiencing. what ive gotten in visiting dr kim is that therapy is something that takes time to see improvements and as a patient you also need to proactive about putting effort at home to help reduce or eliminate the pain you're feeling. i will keep visiting dr kim as he is the best chiropractor ive ever seen and the results speak volumes. there is a reason why dr kim has high reviews on yelp read more
