They were busy as usual and we were at the end of our meal. I went to the bathroom, my husband was still at the table, paying the bill. When I came back, he had my purse and jacket in his hands and was at the door. The boss lady didn't event wait for me to come back to the table before she kicked us out. It just didn't feel right. I know they were busy, but we were there first, didn't skimp on ordering a full meal and we were not dawdling. We had actually made a reservation. We will not be back for a while. Too bad because we miss the food. We will be looking for alternative places to dine in where we are valued customers.

When I'm in the neighbourhood, I order my favourite noodles from Auntie Irene. They don't have these all the time but when they do, it's always so delicious! Loh shi fun is the name and they are cooked perfectly with minced pork, bbq pork in a beautifully balanced sauce. It's equally good with their regular lo mee noodles! And make sure you add their pickled chilies for a nice spicy and vinegary kick. I can't wait to come back here again!

Service has also been consistently great. What more can you ask for? It's definitely a more casual spot but still a well rounded enjoyable dining experience. Wok hei is peak. Our family LOVES the rendang, roti canai, and satay skewers. There's no visit without these 3 orders. Every dish we've had has been a hit! Visited this little gem in Coquitlam and it was just like being in Singapore…read more Authentic dishes and the Laksa is very much like what I enjoyed in Singapore. I got there at opening and it filled up fast. Lots of staff on hand and so service was excellent. Parking out front is pay parking but if you don't mind walking a block or two then there's free parking nearby. Pay parking isn't too expensive though.

Overall, impression of food was better then my last visit at least the Hainanese Chicken rice was above average, the KL Hokkian Kee also came pretty nice, not over oily and salty. I find that in Vancouver for the past 5 years, Malaysian/Singaporean food has overall be on the decline both with food quality & flavours, here the Satays we orders were nice but still does not give you that savoury spicy hit when you bite into them, don't get me wrong, these are good, but still not as good as before. MSG is a bit on the heavy handed side, so be prepared to order your Coke!

Yumz! - It is rice noodle in a yummy egg sauce with fish cake, shrimp, sliced pork & loads of veggies served with a pickled green chili ( ask for soya sauce into your pickled green chillies) I never had a bad dish from there, menu is pretty extensive from Singapore Laksa, to noodles & rice dishes. Lonsdale is all pay parking and we couldn't find a kiosk for payment so we ended up parking in a lot at Whole Foods. It was very busy but the gentleman working the room was very efficient and we were well taken care of.
