DJ and his team hauled off the log the other crew left behind. DJ was super communicative and came out to give us a price estimate. The pricing was competitive and he really seemed to know his stuff, he was able to point out several trees that were diseased and needed to come down. We had gotten estimates from other crews but what sold us on Atlanta Tree Professionals is their track record of great reviews and the insurance protection they carry. Many others claim they have insurance but when you read the fine print, the differences come to light. You can tell Atlanta Tree Professionals care about their customers and their employees. These guys showed up on time on the day of the job. DJ called us to schedule and confirm which was super easy. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Even my neighbors were impressed. I also appreciated the way these guys treated an old oak we have near the house. It had suffered some storm damage but they had it looking good in no time. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

They were extremely professional and kind. The owner, DJ, came in person to provide the quote, and was easy to reach throughout the whole process. He gave us a very reasonable price for first rate work. His consultant Brett and the whole crew were great. They showed up on time, did all they work they said they would, and left us woodchips and neatly stacked firewood to use this winter. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. When I told DJ how impressed I was he told me he was going to tell his crew because they take a lot of pride in what they do. It showed today. Thanks Atlanta Tree Professionals!!

They were nice and didn't mind my looking on. The work was done safely and efficiently. Afterwards, they cleaned up well leaving my property looking great.

Avoid at All Costs - Unreliable and Dishonest…read more I hired King Ellis for sodding and tree trimming based on what appeared to be positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After taking a deposit upfront, King gave me multiple dates for when the work would begin--and each time, he was a no-show. No courtesy calls, no updates, just empty promises. Eventually, he completely disappeared. No responses to texts, calls, or messages--just full-on ghosted me. It's clear now that he had no intention of doing the work after taking the deposit. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. I strongly caution anyone considering working with him or his company. Do not trust King Ellis. He took my money and vanished. I have since reported him on Thumbtack and recommend others do the same to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

He gave an initial verbal quote of $3,200 for a complete job (mowing, tree trimming, edging, weed-eating, removing a large tree with the stump, and sod). I asked how much without the large tree, and Luis adjusted his offer to $700. We continued walking the property; the gentleman changed the price to $3,000. I shared that I wanted to wait on the tree and asked a second time for the estimate without the tree. His offer changed to $800 w/o the tree (an increase of $100)! I explained that I'm waiting on two more estimates and would call him this weekend. Friday during the dinner hour, Mr. Rodriguez called to say that his crew would arrive the next day to start work. I politely reminded Luis that I was waiting on estimates and would contact him by Saturday. He thanked me, and the call ended. In less than a minute, Luis calls back, yelling that I had an agreement with him and that I couldn't do this to him as he called in a crew to work the next day. I work in customer service (25 years), and I'm slow to anger, but the gaul. This is the owner acting this way.
