The staff at Serious--from Byron to the Office Staff to the front line talented work staff--are EXACTLY what you'd need them to be when doing such work as tree removal. They have the equipment and Human Resources to get the job done--not only perfectly, but also QUICKLY! They clean up the entire work area (actually, the most recent job was in the backyard and they left my yard looking better than when they got there!!! After double checking with a number of contractors, I hired Serious Tree Services to cut a few conifers trees in Sept 2024 , these were average to small trunk size wise but very tall. They did such a wonderful and professional job; they arrived exactly on time with a large crew and all required equipment. they finished the job in less than four hours. The owner/manager was very prompt on phone/text communication from the time I contacted him asking for a quote till job was done. They cleaned all branches and debris very well. This is the best company I have ever dealt with. Both our jobs have been due to diseases/damaged trees that were a danger to our kids, dogs and property. BLUF: Amazing work; fabulous price I wanted to take down 6 trees, but NEEDED to take down 2 giant oaks in my front yard. When I got the quote to remove all 6 my jaw dropped... that was what I was expecting to pay for just the 2 big ones based on some other quotes I'd received. So much so I was a bit apprehensive. They were at our home within 2 days (only waited due to rain), and they had the job complete within 90 minutes. Amazing! We were referred to them by a family friend and they definitely did not disappoint. The owner is so kind and has an amazing story. He comes to visit all the houses and supervises his workers. Everyone was very professional and kind. They got the job done very quickly and with no disturbance. Serious Tree Services came out today and took two large pine trees down one about 38 in diameter the other 36. They carefully and skillfully dropped the branches and trees. One tree was 6 feet away from my wife's large center yard garden and not a single plant was touched. It was a given there would be some damage but there was none. OMG! they are fantastic. They showed up on time and did what they promised. Imagine that! They removed Nine trees that were about 5 stories tall all in one day with their crane. John and his team are great and they were one of the better priced companies. There was a cheaper company that did not carry Workmans Com. John is just about the nicest, most personable person you could do business with. When a tree fell on my house, he and his crew were quick, professional, and accommodating - it began to rain while they were removing the tree, and he drove to Home Depot to get a tarp to have his crew install to tide us over until the appraiser arrived after the weekend. This is a horrible unethical company. They did work for my neighbor and just pushed all of the trash onto my property. I had a fence line up to mark the property line and my husband went by to make sure the crew understood where the line was. They then knocked down my fence line and put their trash on my property. read more
