The realtor was supposed to handle it, but she backed out at the last minute. So anyway, I started looking further afield, in Hayward and Contra Costa, and I found Jerry at Major Stagers. He was prompt to estimate the job, and his price was super competitive for such a big house. Plus he was easy to work with, and flexible on timing and terms. House had been vacant for six months while we redecorated, but there had been a break-in before we put in the alarm system, so Jerry worked with us to minimize any small expensive staging items that could be "lifted", but still make the home appear super-luxurious for the photos and in person. The big old historic home looked stunning in the online photos with Jerry's staging, and folks went wild over it at the open houses. We got a bunch of offers, and Jerry was again flexible about getting the furniture out the day before he was scheduled to take his family on vacation, and left the place clean and beautiful. I'm so happy I found Jerry, he really saved the day and made the home look as beautiful as it really is, and with reasonable pricing and attitude, which is a combination that can be rare in the design business. I recently hired Major Stagers to stage my home for sale. Jerry and team did a phenomenal job for a competitive price. On the day my house went on the Multiple Listing Site my agent received multiple requests for appointments for that same day.
