My husband and I did the 90 min Physiotherapy TuiNa Massage with Tina & May. It's not your typical relaxing Swedish massage. They use deep tissue pressure point massage, stepped on my back, did a little stretching & used oil & hot stones to help with circulation, remove toxins & relieve pain. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a face pillow, so my chin was hurting towards the end when face down, but overall a good experience.

Jennel was amazing! Simply THE BEST massage I've ever had…read more Her professionalism stood out immediately. She warmly greeted me and asked if there were any areas on my body which were bothering me or that she needed to pay attention to so as not to cause discomfort. The way she used her hands and arms let me know she is very much in tune with what she's doing. She knew exactly where and how much pressure to apply to release the tension in my body. I was left feeling insanely relaxed and felt great afterwards. I will definitely be coming back again and again! Thank you, Jennel!!

It was a couples massage. My girlfriends was decent. With hundreds of massages under my belt, I feel this and this price. 90% of Asian massages at half the cost were twice as good. Never had this issue in places like Serenity Spa in Granite Bay or other Sacramento area establishments. It has been over a month and after a trip expensive trip to the ER and time, it is mostly feeling healed. It was Excessive Pressure. The owner offered an apology and had a conversation with the therapist about the incident she stated. No refund was ever given and all communication ceased. It is probably not worth contacting an attorney at this point. ($1600 ER bill) and many days of pain, but an expensive lesson. Higher priced massages does not necessarily equate to higher quality.

I was really looking forward to this massage, but unfortunately I left feeling disappointed…read more Natalia was pleasant, but despite asking several times for firmer pressure, I didn't notice much of a difference. The massage started at my feet and worked all the way up to my scalp, which I found to be an unusual sequence. I've had many massages over the years, and I've never experienced one done in that order, so it felt a bit odd. The pressure remained too light throughout, and I kept hoping it would improve, but it never did. I paid for a 90-minute session and, honestly, I was ready to leave after the first 20 minutes. To top it off, at the end of the massage I was handed a dry towel to wipe the massage oil off myself, which felt unusual and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. The spa itself is beautiful, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I just wish the massage had matched the quality of the rest of the experience.

Such a wonderful massage experience!…read more I was looking around for a nice massage for my husband and me, and I was so glad to find Awaken! I booked everything in Vagaro, and it was super easy to schedule our couple's appointment. We arrived earlier than our scheduled massage a waited a little for our masseuses to be ready but once they were, my masseuse, Jenny led us to the room. My husband got Jaimison. Both Jenny and Jaimison was excellent. We haven't gotten a massage in so long cause of our busy wedding schedules and traveling, and forgot how tense our bodies were. We started working out more so our bodies have been more sore with more knots we were unaware of, until Jenny and Jaimison started massaging us. They were able to get areas on our shoulders, back, and necks that we were aching in. Overall, the massage experience was excellent!! We really enjoyed our relaxation time and felt so nice after. Parking is street parking so there are some in front or on the streets nearby!

She always makes sure that I'm comfortable, she zeros in on what's bothering me, perfect pressure, super professional and highly skilled. She talked to me about a membership and the timing of appointments. She said they had a 20 minute grace period because I said I would likely be coming from work and running late. She said it wouldn't be an issue at all, if I was late the session would just be shorter. I made an appointment to go back for a sauna and was planning on signing up for the membership the receptionist had told me about. I was running late and tried to reach the spa. Scott left me a message. I called back. Scott returned my call and was immediately rude. He said since it was 15 minutes past my appointment he turned off the sauna and would charge me. It wasn't even 15 minutes into the appointment but I apologized and said I understood. He then said there was an issue that I personally blocked the charge and needed to fix it immediately. I obviously hadn't had the chance to block the charge while I was on the phone with him but still apologized. He continued to be rude while I just apologized. I wanted a solution he wanted to be upset. I would never consider going back.

Updating this review!!…read more I've gotten many massages and never felt very violated during my massage experience. I received a male masseuse who was in his older 30-40s it appeared. Touched me in inappropriate area twice and felt very uncomfortable. Only focused on massaging buttocks inappropriately during hour massage. Highly do not recommend this place. I emailed the business after my appointment and was told a refund would be issued, however, the opposite occurred.... I was disappointed with how my concerns were handled after my visit. I reported that I felt uncomfortable during the massage, but instead of acknowledging my experience, the response focused on the fact that I completed the session and left a tip, implying that my concerns were less valid. Many people do not feel comfortable speaking up in the moment, especially during a vulnerable situation like a massage. What was even more disappointing was being offered only a partial refund of $47.50 and being asked to remove my review in exchange for receiving it. Rather than addressing my concerns and taking responsibility for my experience, it felt like the business was trying to make the review disappear. I believe customer feedback should be taken seriously, especially when it involves a client feeling uncomfortable during a service. She never responded to my email after stating she would issue a refund. DO NOT GO HERE
