All the memorabilia was sold out, wish they had gotten enough to even last one full day. I was a little disappointed at the condition of the theater room we were in. It was very dated. The seats definitely need to be updated or replaced. They were peeling and just looked awful. The cup holders were gross and needed to be cleaned bad. But the thing that annoyed me the most was the movie playing next door. It was so loud that you could hear it through the walls. It really disturbed our movie experience. All the bumping coming through the walls was overtaking the sound of our movie making it hard to hear at times. Please do better.

When we arrived at SanTan Village, we quickly found a spot on the other side of the theatre, by the children's indoor playground. SanTan Village gets pretty busy on the weekends, so I'm not sure if parking would have been this easy if we went on a weekend. This was my first time at this theatre. Our tickets were scanned by the entrance and we bought popcorn and soda before heading to our seats. The staff who scanned our tickets and the staff who took our food orders were both pleasant. The seats were big and comfortable. They also recline, which is always a huge plus in my book. I actually found myself dozing off a few times during the movie, which never happens at a movie theatre. I think it was a combination of the comfy seats, meh movie, and my level of tiredness that evening. Overall great experience. I would return!

We asked for a refund or different seats to another show, they allowed us to get seats to a new movie but since the movie was in the evening we had to pay an extra $12. they also pushed us aside so they could deal with someone else even though we were first and we're already talking to them. I'm still glad that we were able to see a movie. I just wish they handled it a little better. Especially as teenagers, when adults act like we don't matter or talk to us in belittling ways it's hard to enjoy the experience.

I've been to a few other Harkins Theatres including the one in Ahwatukee and Chandler Fashion Center and this one by far is the most mediocre one. I've been quite spoiled with very luxurious, plush and super comfy recliners at the other Harkins Theatres, so that was a bit of a letdown. What I did like about this Harkins is their bar lounge and it was the first time I had a beer at a Harkins, wow! It wasnt cheap and there were no happy hour specials but I was still pretty excited to watch a movie with an adult beverage vs a soda. It was also dinner time, so I ordered some chicken fingers. Both beer and chicken fingers were solid. Bar is really nice and honestly too bad not many people taking part in it. Bathrooms were clean and theatre was ok, smaller than I would like with more traditional seats. Maybe my fault I chose a less popular film that only had one showing per day. It's not as big which Allowed for a better experience. It just seemed like the screen was larger even though the theater was smaller. The sound was amazing-WAY above what I expected from past IMAX experiences. It was also clean in the lobby, snack bar, and seating area. My biggest take away from this experience was the distance between my seat and the seat in front of me offering me amazing leg room. I take up a lot of real estate and was still able to walk to my seat without hitting other peoples legs, get comfortable and slouch if I wanted to without hitting the seat in front me. Snack Bar attendant Naomi helped us find the best popcorn and drink combo at the most reasonable price. She was friendly and accommodating.
