SO if you want to pay a minimum of 10% more for your items. SHOULD you WANT sales people whom will…read morelie to your face. SHOULD you desire 0% customer service. Then by all means WASTE your time and money with this company! They are after all, according to their sign in the top 10 best places to work in Maine....after my experience this is most likely ALSO a blatant lie! Despite what you will be told there ARE OTHER PLACES in the area to get what you are shopping for. That DON'T intentionally lie to your face AND provide excellent customer service. No matter how big or small your order may be. NEVER going to spend ANY MONEY or WASTE my time with this horrible company. Well you won't find a purchase as I didn't make one. WHY? Because I was blatantly lied to when I asked if there was anywhere else in the area I could find what I was looking for without having to go all the way to Waterville Home Depot. I was told, "No. We are the only lumber yard in the area." This was after I requested that the plywood I was going to purchase could not be cut to fit in my car as all they had was a hand saw. SOME LUMBER YARD THAT CAN'T CUT LUMBER!!!! Feel free to contact me. I am the Asst Manager at Maine Smoke Shop on the rotary. I will walk you right in point out the "Sales person" whom lied as well as the one that almost said something but did not as he was obviously worried about the fallout from the liar! BTW Ware-Butler gets ALL MY business as well as recommendations! They don't care that at that point I just needed a few items. They DO CARE about the fact I am in the process of building my own Tiny Home Offgrid. NOT exactly a million dollar order but THEY ACTUALLY CARE about locals and there plans!

I've seen more american goods here lately, I hope the trend continues especially some locally made unique wind spinners :)

Hubby had my truck so had my sister swing by with her car to pick it up while we were out. The kid who loaded it literally just dropped the bags in the trunk; loud thud!! To the point it jolted the car & we jumped. We drove less than a mile down the road & heard a loud muffler sound. We stopped & looked under & there was a big crack in her muffler, at the flange. I live a mile from the store! Called Campbells back & told them (John) what happened & asked them to please mention to this kid to perhaps not just drop 80# bags of concrete in someone's trunk like that as it can cause damage. The concrete was a solid block too, so this was all in vain anyway! Had to return concrete & now have to pay for repairs. Manager said "well u must've hit a big bump cuz there's no way that could do that damage." Umm, well my sister drove like a turtle & did not hit any bumps. The car was completely fine b4 this. You do the math. VERY expensive mistake, buying overpriced concrete that was useless. Be WARNED: if u buy bags of concrete here, load it yourself or you may have your car damaged. Manager could've said "Well I'm sorry that happened & yes I'll speak to the guy to tell him to be careful." That's all. That would've been sufficient/decent, good customer service. Not like I expected them to pay our car repairs! Just some type of decency or concern for customers who have shopped there a lot! No more. Lost my business, my sisters & that of my contractor who brought the concrete back for me. These people do not know how to treat customers. Also told my aunt & cousin so they'll never shop there again either. Customer service goes a long way. This was a bad experience that was just made much worse by uncaring people who couldn't have the decency to just act like they gave a damn. FYI: We've hauled lots of stuff b4- trunk loaded with heavy bags of soil & never had an issue. Common sense will tell you if u drop 160#, rather than set it, in a trunk it could damage something. Live & learn! Always go to Home Depot from now on!

Built me a slab foundation that was uneven and used cinder blocks to build a foundation. When done the slab and foundation was not squared was out of square by 4 inches and the cap where the anchor bolts go in was an inch thick that didn't hold the sill plate in place cinder blocks were full of dirt (not cement). Doug and his father took my money to build a foundation that was unbuildable and took money for a septic tank and never (stole my money). Dragonfire Excavation told me that they used the money for the extra work they did that they never told me about said it was $27,000.00 and never delivered the septic tank after telling me it was on its way knowing they were never going to install it or fixed the foundation. Here are a few pictures of the mess I paid for it is now in the court system. The property has now been sold because I lost all my money.
