They called an hvac company out of the phone book who didn't send a technician, but a slick salesman instead. This guy convinced them to sign a contract for a $17,000.00 new AC system. After they signed the contract he told them they'd have to wait three days for the system to arrive and be installed. They called me very upset and concerned. I cancelled the contract with the phone book guys and called Mike from Qualitech. Qualitec diagnosed the problem, went to a local supply house for a new fan motor and installed installed it all in the same day. LIFE SAVERS! My parents wouldn't have lasted one night, let alone three nights in August 100 degree, 100% humidity. Thank you so much Qualitec!!!

I immediately called the gas company and they came and shut off the gas line. It's the dead of the winter and now I have no heat. I didn't know where to begin. I checked the internet but nothing jumped out at me. I went on yelp and began reading reviews and I ran across Lawrence heating & air. I called spoke to a woman who was very pleasant and told me a tech could come out to assess the boiler to see if it was still usable. Joe came and he looked at it and said it it's a hazard. With all the rust and corrosion and not to mention whatever was on fire. He said it needed replacing. He talked to me about the options and stated I would get an email from the owner of my options. 30 mins later the email was there and everything was included. All the info I needed to know about the unit, specs, warranty, parts/tubing for replacement, price. It was a proposal. I reached out to Lawrence with my questions and he answered right away. I also stated my elderly dad lives with me and elderly need service as soon as possible. That was no problem. He sent me payment options as well. Once I accepted the proposal and date was locked in and they techs came the next day on time. Randy showed up first, then Joe & Chaly. They immediately put down floor draping and loaded all of the supplies , pipes , boiler, etc. They opened all the radiators starting at the top. All of them were pleasant and very Knowledgeable about their job. Any questions I asked Randy explained. They cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything was put back in place. Once they were done Randy told me about my new unit and what was removed and put in. This company made the entire stressful event so much more easier, like a weight had been lifted. She made sure I was aware of the special they were running and assured me there would not be any surprise fees. The technician was on-time, extremely professional, friendly and took extra time to explain things in detail and trouble shoot things with us. We were perplexed as to why our electric bill was so high given that this is a 2 year old unit. He truly went above and beyond and probably spent way more time than is allotted for a routine service with us to figure out the problem - turns out the high density air filter we were using was causing the unit to work much harder than it should without moving much air - never would have figured this out without his help. And, as promised, we were only charged the quoted service fee special. Will not call anyone else for service or maintenance for anything heating or cooling related!

I started using them several years after I moved in to my home. I had neighbors who used them and were very happy. Whenever, I had a problem they were there to fix it, give me suggestions, and always made sure I knew what was happening and why. I find the money I spend on their contracts taken care of what needs to be done. It is money well spent. Over all I have found their prices to be fair given the current market, tariffs, etc. I recommend them for your heating and air conditioning needs.

We were told the part was in and it would be replaced the Friday or Saturday at the latest BEFORE the storm arrived. My mother/I called on Friday/Saturday before the storm and Sunday/Monday during/after the storm. We only get voicemail and no one has called us back. We have tried THREE different numbers which all end at the same voicemail. However, our neighbor three doors up, who also uses Engel received a call back and has an appointment on Tuesday. They are getting a full heater replacement while my mother is only having a component replaced in order to control her fluctuating temperature. Unfortunately, without the new board, her utility bill has doubled! The lack of response and the unrealized and undelivered expectations for an elderly person who is trying to survive the winter with temperatures in the teens is unacceptable!
