Wow!! Family and I came here bright and early for the summer starting hours at 10 am on the Fourth of July. Every. Single. Employee do not greet you with a smile. They do not want to be here either.. Listen, I get it Main Event.. this is a terrible reaction from patrons to experience this. I do know the employees rather be doing something else for the Fourth and we apologize for coming in. We aren't doing fireworks either now or tonight. But this is how we chose to spend the " fireworks family funds." We did get the "special" for today and got the bracelet package deal. The bowling lanes are janky and we had to move from lane 1 to 9 and both of those altogether left us with bad games. It was a spectacular waste of time. We're usually understanding and don't require much to keep us enthused.. this was a mistake. I don't feel comfortable leaving this review like this, but I do think this is daily, and not just a magickal summer holiday attitude. My husband and I were once young and had those summer jobs too... good gawd this was an awful awkward time. Happy Fourth of July everyone!! An independence celebration comes in many forms, just appreciate what comes and goes. -we had to ask for plates, napkins, forks with pizza order -our pizza order "table buzzer" didn't go off -our pizza sat on the counter for ten minutes before delivered to our table.. Get it together guys... cheer up, and smile.. it could be worse like delivering mail and being chased by large dogs and rotten people expecting their checks in the mail. Me and my friends came here for a birthday party. We had a great time! We all enjoyed bowling then going to the arcade afterward. All though we had fun, there were some problems. First, the inside was very dirty. The table was super sticky. I've never seen a table so sticky before. Also, the bathrooms were horrendous. There was pee all over the floor. Golly. The arcade games were kind of rigged too. Twice I swiped my card and spent my money on a machine and the machine didn't let me play it! What a waste. The staff there were kind of struggling. When my friend got his shoes, they gave him two r left ones. So, he asked for a left one. The guy took one of the shoes back. But then, he came back with another left one and said it was a right shoe! So again, my friend asked for a replacement and the guy took it. Guess what he brought back this time. Another left shoe! At this point my friend was getting a little frustrated. So, he asked again and he was finally given a right shoe. What an embarrassment for the main event staff. I will say this though, the pizza was pretty good here. Overall, this was a decent bowling place. If you're willing to test your luck with what type of shoes you'll get, then I recommend coming here! My family stopped in to wind down ahead of my cousin's big day. For the most part, everything was great. From the service at the bar, the taste of the food itself, and even the ease of reserving and playing games. Our host, I believe her name was Cali, was a little rude. Very aggressive and had an attitude for no reason. Anyway, while there my party ordered a variety of food from pizza, sliders, wings, and I even had a chicken caesar flat bread. My love for caesar salad is unmatched and I was amazed to see how creative one can be with it. It was literally salad folded in buttery, garlic flatbread and was actually pretty tasty along with the sode of seasoned fries. I never would have thought of this simple creation. If you're looking to have a great time with friends or family with good food and a variety of games from pool, bowling, arcade games you should give this spot a try. read more

This evening a few of my friends and I attended main event for a fun girls night. Before we went bowling we decided to get some food. It took too long for someone to take our order, and after we ordered our food there was a mix up. We were delivered an extra water which we thought was strange, but oh well. Then, we received two Dr. Peppers which we did NOT order. After that, we received our actual drink order and our cheesy bread sticks. After we finished our food, we asked for our check, and it took about 15 minutes for us to receive our check causing us to be late for our bowling. When we went to get our bowling shoes, the staff did not seem like they wanted to be there, which I understand, because I wouldn't want to be there either. There is lots of parking in front and to the side of the building. It is a brightly lit space. When you walk in, you can head to the customer service are and determine which activities you would like to participate in. When we arrived, there was a bit of a line. You will pay for game credits separately, then the bowling, pool, laser tag or course which you can bundle into an all you can play. It is expensive adventure to play some games. We started with bowling and the food service was slow. It took a while to get a server to place our order. The chicken wings were pretty good, better than I expected. I'd never been to Main Event and decided to take the grandkids while they were in town. What a disappointment! Many of the machines were broken or malfunctioning. We had two player cards and one wouldn't work well. At least the staff was kind and the selection of items to pick from when cashing in tickets were good. However, that's not enough to bring me back. Had the best family night. We went for a school fundraiser and love that they give back locally. We had good drinks from the bar but no food this time. This Main Event never disappoints. We always get a table and hang out for an hour or so while our daughter goes and spends the game card. We bought a Nacho dinner with drinks, and a $50 game card to go with it. The $50 game card was perfect for my 2 daughters to play together, after we had all eaten. My husband and I hung out while they spent the card, and thankfully the card gave us the perfect amount of time (not too long) before they spent the card, picked out their prizes, before heading out. The food there is delicious, we loved the nachos....and the cotton candy Shirley Temple is photo worthy, but too sweet for my daughter to want to finish. Do NOT go here for the arcade. Games are rigged, half of them don't work and just take your credits, overpriced, prizes are overpriced and again the GAMES ARE RIGGED. ESPECIALLY the kinds that allow you to get tickets. They do NOT want you to win. I HIGHLY recommend going to Andy Bs in Tulsa instead. You can actually win your money's worth there. we went on a Monday for the fun day, and we did the bowling and sometimes the pins wound not restate and we would have to wait a minute until we coned playing then we went to go play Lazer tag we waited over 30 minutes to play and come to find out that we need a reservation to play so we went to make a reservation and we make and we made on 8:30 then they asked or the name and they were like there is not one for 8:30 so then we had to waited longer FINLY at 8:45 we got in then some of the guns did not work then we went back and some of them did not work still then we went to find family and most of the games where broken and not working and we went to the food court and there was trach all over the place and I paid for a large and I got 2 small scops of ice-cream and the place felt very dirty it was super crowded. Let's talk, date night but you have no sitter? Seriously. So my husband & I took the kids to go bowling at the Main Event for Valentine's Day. Perfect idea! The bowling alley is great cause the booths are perfect to have your own space. You can order food, soda, beer whatever from a waiter or the little computer on your tables. They have these fun little dinosaur slide things for the kids to use while bowling. The staff was great! We ordered some food, the prices were actually really decent not too overpriced. The kids meals options were spot on! Plus kids eat free on Tuesday!! What!! What?! They have pool tables, shuffle boards, laser tag, all types of games, virtual reality and ropes course. The staff was super friendly to help get us setup with the bowling lanes, and with our gaming card. It's a great place to go with friends, a date, or the whole family. I really really wanted to like this place. I came here for a work event. I'll note that we didn't reserve any lanes or want a private room or anything like that. I got to Main Event first. I went to the front desk and started asking some very basic questions. The kid working the front was not very helpful. I did explain it was my first time being there so I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. He offered no explanation of anything. I didn't know if shoes were included if you rented a lane etc. He still offered no real help. I ended up getting a lane for 3 hours and paying for 2 adult shoes and 2 kid shoes. Came up to just under $100. No big deal. I get to the lane and the tables and floor area were covered in trash. I went back to the front desk. Asked the kid if I could get a different lane or the area cleaned up. Took 10 minutes to get things cleaned up. My time for the lane is running this entire time. So my coworkers, their spouses and their kids show up. There's about 10-12 of us. Some people get another lane and then some go play games and some go shoot pool. So here's why it didn't get a better rating, almost every single round we bowled, the balls got stuck or the pins wouldn't reset and we had to wait for someone to come fix the issue. We had to call someone over 5-6 times. Just totally outrageous. They said they would add the time back on for what was lost while we waited. I couldn't tell if they did or not. I was disappointed they didn't offer a game card or something better as compensation. I'm not a Karen so I didn't make a scene or demands about it, but I think they could have worked harder to make it right. I'd rather go to Andy B's. Stay away from lane 6. The pizza and beer was average. Can't recommend and I won't go again. read more

Great place for kids to run wild and game it up plus there were fun games for adults to join in on as well. There was a huge assortment of arcade games, a pool hall, bowling alleys, and a bunch of VR simulations. Sensory overload for sure when you walk in for the first time but one you get your bearings, there is a lot of fun to be had. The staff was wearing masks but didn't see much sanitizing going on. I know it could be difficult for a place like this but not seeing the games being cleaned down after each person used the joystick or controller sort of ruined it for me. read more

6/10 games we tried to play in the arcade area were out of service. I paid $125 on a card and after many failed attempts at trying to play games that were not designated as out of order or damaged, I just wanted a refund. I paid cash, so I should be able to get cash back and they can trash the card. The managers were not willing to do this, so I just left with $90 on a Main Event card that I will probably never use. I do not want to spend my money there again until Dave and Busters comes in and finalizes their acquisition. I reached out to Chris directly to see what he could do, but I guess it was a $125 loss. The service was horrible, they staffed one...1!...bartender to serve the entire place, the manager had no clue about the kids drinks that they were promoting, he acted like he was lost and his service was horrible. He could have stepped in where the single bartender needed help with the customers. I don't know what happened from last time, but it was absolutely a waste of money since none of the machines that were out of order were marked and the fact that I could not get a refund absolutely sucks as a single mom...I saved up that money so we could go play and have fun for a couple of hours. Laser tag was the only thing that was worth the money. I'd still go to another location that has games and laser tag over this place. read more

But we also spent a lot of money.. this place is expensive I paid over $40 to bowl for 1 hr (shoe rental $5)and $40 for 2 sodas, bucket of millers and 1 quesadilla. It is very clean and nice inside with a lot of games to play. The customer service was ok.. our bowling host was very friendly and helpful but our waitress was not very friendly and seemed to be bothered by me asking if my drink was diet. I went bowling here. The actual bowling is good. On the night we went they had unlimited bowling, which sounds great. We got right on a lane and bowled for 1 hour. After which the desk told us we had to get back on a waiting list, which was 7 people long, to continue to bowl. I was not going to wait 2 hours to bowl again. At every other bowling alley, especially during unlimited bowl, you bowl til your done then the next group gets on the lane if theres a waiting list. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a gift card from their website. My wife bought one on Monday morning for my birthday so the family (with little kids) could have fun on Saturday. She got a confirmation that stated it should be processed within 20-60 minutes, but could take up to 6 hours. Our bank was charged the next day so we thought we were all set. Come Saturday afternoon my wife realizes we never got the digital gift card (although we had been charged). She calls 2 different numbers on the website and the local center....zero help. I find a gift card help # and call and they can't figure anything out. After a while to answer and a long hold they say they need to do some research and I need to call back in 30 min. I tell them I have little kids upset bc they want to go bowl, but there's nothing that can be done she needs to "email management" and they'll have an answer in 30 min. 45 min later I call and no pick up for a while, finally someone comes on and says management won't be in until Monday, nothing she can do. She not sure why someone would tell me call back. I can "request" a refund, but that needs management approval too. Earlier this month it was way too hot to take the kid to the pool or do anything outside, so we decided to head to main event. Opted for a game card and received an additional $10 for the price of $35. Games are about $1.50 a piece and while some are worth it, others are just a one deal thing and are a waste of money. Didn't have an opportunity to bowl or tag the lasers, nor did we eat anything there. The kid loved the interactive floor game which was free. The convenience of tickets being automatically loaded to the card was great although confusing at first. The prize "prices" were actually fairly reasonable for the money you put in. read more

I came here for a work event, which may make my review slightly bias.... Lots of arcade games, along with laser tag, pool, shuffleboard, and a "ropes course." Also has bowling with the coolest graphics I've ever seen at any bowling alley ever. You can take your picture beforehand and they'll superimpose your face on the graphics that show in between frames. Food was surprisingly decent and the staff were all really nice. I've never been to an arcade place where a roller coaster arcade was $4!!! They don't have unlimited play by the hour and so all we can do is either wait for the 9847733 kids waiting in line for the ropes course or play pool so we did and it was about $6 an hour which wasn't bad but this place is so unorganized. You have to go to different places to purchase stuff such as for ropes course, you can't get it at the main cashier, you have to go to the prizes and for pool, you have to go to the bar. we haven't done everything here, but we love it! the food is great! tried the Lemon Pepper rub wings and im inlove, the pepperoni black olive pizza was enjoyed immensely by grandchild, we left with a bag full of rubber ducks lol, and a bunch of other prizes again. this time we had the place to ourselves for quite a while as it had just opened. Staff is always sweet and accomodating, only complaint is they need face guards on helmets to prevent spread of pink eye etc. or at least keep wipees on hand for diserning parents PLEASE, for this reason we were unable to use the VR games. I came here for a work function shortly after they opened and was very impressed with Main Event's Tulsa location. It's very similar in setup, price, and decor as the OKC location, it's not too difficult to see the different areas that Main Event has. Laser tag, a ropes course, bowling, billiards, shuffleboard, and arcade games galore! We stayed over in the dining area next to the pool tables where our buffet was set up. (I do hate that they only leave it set up for a set amount of time before they throw whatever we didn't eat away.) The service was fantabulous. The catering was delicious. And my few hours there were definitely entertaining. At one point, I overheard one of the staff members near the catering table said, "My turn to dance!" to a coworker when a song came on that everyone knows all the moves to. They even did the electric slide to get the party going! This place is all kinds of fun. It's definitely a little pricey, but the prices are still competitive for entertainment. The bar isn't a bad place to hang out and the drinks are definitely on the more affordable side if you're looking for a new hangout, those 21+. read more
