    Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich
    Mecca B.

A good place to go if you have the "munchies."They have a lot of creative options on their menu. Also the Buffalo chicken sandwich is the spiciest Buffalo sandwich I've had in Alaska

So I waited 40 minutes for the ChowNow app to quit pending my order. The guy tells me his iPad died at his desk. On top of waiting for that order, when I come to pick it up; half the bun of the 'guacamole chicken burger' special, is soggy. The garlic fries are both soggy & hard... if the front desk guy didn't have access to his iPad, why was my order soggy? He apologized & said my order would be ready in less then 15 min. I feel like the order sat there a whole hour.

    The large space.

What can I say!... Fantastic service, yummy food, kind and efficient and effective staff, and the venue is set up beautifully. From start to finish... They make the process of having an event super easy and stress-free! If something comes up that you need, they are Johnny on the spot to make things happen. I cannot say enough good things about main event catering and events. Everyone should eat at their restaurant! I really like the Reuben rolls!

Over $6 with a half a strawberry and 5 blueberries. So annoyed

The food is great but to desert is too high priced for the serving amount .Over $6 with a half a strawberry and 5 blueberries per tablespoon. It was also lukewarm. So annoyed, I feel ripped off!!!!! This is the worst. I'd give zero stars if it were and option

Check this place out!!! There is something to say about a family-owned business ... living the dream. They are a true blessing. The food smells so good!!! It is worth a trek downtown for the Saturday Market.

Eating lunch at the new Main Event restaurant. A grilled Rueben and tomato basil soup for dipping.

Too cold for outdoor food truck eating? The Main Event has resolved the issue!!! They now have a restaurant with same great menu. Enjoying a grilled Rueben and a cup of tomato basil. Each is excellent on their but even better as a combination.

Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Reindeer Sausage, Egg, and yes a Hashbrown too! First of all it's stacked! Almost like you gotta dislocate your jaw to get that bad boy in your mouth, but when you do it's like Flavor-Tastic! The creamy chipotle and mayo adds a perfect element to this burger. Everything you want for breakfast is packed and stacked. I ate half and then came back to it an hour later and finished it. If you skipped breakfast like I did that day and it's lunch this just totally hits that Brunch Vibe spot your taste buds crave! I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to seeing them at other events around town.

Major plus: they serve a tasty mushroom and Swiss burger, decent fries and tater tots. Later in the evening, I reheated Mrs. E's chili dog. Very good! Our friends shared their Philly Steak, chili and the famous Boom Ba Laddy (bbq pork, grilled onions, peppers and potatoes covered in cheese). All selections were outstanding and made for an excellent evening. The prices were reasonable, too! Watch for this truck in and around Anchorage and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 12/22

Got some takeout for dinner last night. I tried the rice bowl with kimchi fried rice, Kalbi beef &…read morean over easy egg. The kimchi fried rice could have used more punch. Maybe more spice, or more kimchi? Bacon? I couldn't tell what it was that was missing but I've tried many versions of this in Hawaii and it was blander than those. The Kalbi beef wasn't ribs! I was disappointed, it was just like shaved beef. Egg was good. Everything not bad, but in my opinion could have been better. Husband tried the kimchirito, or kimchi burrito. He said it was fine, enjoyed it but won't seek it out again due to the off-the-wall fusion of flavors. He did say it was nice to be able to sit at the bar and have a cold beer while he waited for our take out order. Our child tried an order of gyoza which were great! She also liked the seasoned tater tots that came with her dad's burrito. Might come back to try the actual Kalbi rib plate.

Always look at newest reviews!!!…read more We saw the 4.4 red stars and thought this was gona be an amazing place. The first red flag was 1pm on week day and there was only 3 parties in the place. The one and only server was very nice, but being the only one, twice when new parties entered he would walk away. Wife ordered chicken katsu rice plate. The overall theme is everything is bland. EVERYTHING.. Her cabbage slaw/salad had a white creamy sauce, my best guess is mayo mixed with ranch but only if both was every kind of free there is, fat, sugar, carb, keto, and most importantly, taste FREE. Her rice was purple, there were purple chunks, not sure if it was potato, the rice was mushy, wet, and Bland. Her kutsu sauce was made from the same everything free ingredients. Come on man, Kutsu sauce is 3 ingredients and all three are bold flavors, how do you mess that up. But ok, they want to be fusion, maybe add some cilantro or chili. She asked for soy sauce and salt to try and add some flavor. Half way through she has me hold out my hand and pours a handful of the "salt" from the shaker. It was not salt granules, almost looked like a salt substitute. I honestly don't know what it was but when I tasted it I would be extremely generous by saying I got a 25% salt flavor. Normally, you put 2-4 tablespoons of salt in your hand and lick your finger, when you taste that, you get a powerful punch in the mouth of dam, that's salty. I was dumbfounded, if they are using that "salt" to cook with them makes since why everything is so bland. I don't want to repeat the Bland Bland Bland theme over and over. I had bulgogi, kutsu, and BBQ chicken tacos. I will skip to the end- yep, you guessed it, Bland. We did have the bulgogi egg roll, I do want to touch on this only because I was so mad at myself once we left I dug Into the reviews. These are one of the most positive commented items, BUT those comments are from over a year ago. Overall, 11$ for two small egg rolls cut in half is ridiculous. Then if you bite/taste just the egg roll, there is a 5% taste of bulgogi sauce. Which again is so explosive of a sauce. But, If you drown the egg roll in the creamy mild sriracha sauce then the egg roll is ok. If you forget what it should taste like and just concentrate on how did they make the sauce with no heat, then you could get at least a 2-2.5 star. Server deserves 5 stars, Food deserves 2 stars.
