I sent pictures to Liberty Bell but the pictures were not time-stamped before and after so Liberty takes no responsibility. Who anticipates damage and takes before pictures anyway? Also they were to take a king sized bed (no Mattress) to a charity but at the move day they told us that their truck was too full so they would not do it. Another negative is that before, during, and after the move I was never able to speak with a live person. Definitely would not recommend. I called the guys at D&J and my call was answered by a real person, there was no "Press 1 for this...press 2 for that..." I easily scheduled a weekend appointment-even with the threat of winter storms they were willing to keep an eye on the forecast and stressed their flexibility. He quoted me that a typical move like mine would be about 4 hours. I had packed all that I could into moving boxes. With the exception of furniture. Which, they broke apart AND reassembled perfectly in my new place!!! Score! They arrived promptly on a Saturday morning, they practiced masking and social distancing and you could tell the way the team performed seamlessly that these guys knew what they were doing and they treated my possessions with kid gloves. They went above and beyond during this freezing winter move. With one guy on his knees with a hammer chiseling my frozen BBQ grill from the snow bank that encompassed it! They accept cash and check only -I wished I could have paid with my debit card as I seldom use cash now-a-days. But, that said, the crew waited for me to dash to the ATM up the street, so I paid that way. For me, they charged $130.00 an hour. And it was beyond worth it! They spent 3.5 hours between both places, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed and my daughters bed. These guys know what they are doing. I contacted them less than a week before my move after my previously scheduled movers canceled on me. I rented the truck and they provided all the packing materials. They did SUCH a good job packing things in the truck. My fiance packed his U-Haul on his own and it became very obvious when unpacking that mine was done with much more care. My estimate for how much stuff I had was sorely mistaken on my part, and it ended up taking much longer because I didn't pack everything into boxes, to begin with (I've moved I don't know how many times but still do this!) but they were totally fine with it, even though they had another appointment after.
