It felt like we had been taking Simba here for years and it was only the first time. When we picked him up, not only did he look perfect but we could tell that he was comfortable and happy. It is so nice to find such professional groomers, absolute pet lovers, and wonderful people. Not only that but the grooming plus an oil treatment was only $70. For the amount of effort and time that they spent, they were better priced than all other local groomers. We will now be lifelong customer at Royal Dutch.

I waited 4+ hours for my dog to be finished so I can pick her up, and when I got her, her nails were ragged and hardly cut at all. She has clear nails & the untrained eye could visibly see there was more nail that needed trimmed. The staff at the store was friendly. However my issue arose when I emailed the owner and asked if I could bring my dog back for the nails to be corrected for free because they were too poorly done to ignore. The owner sent a very aggressive email back, saying that I should go elsewhere & that his business would never make a mistake, and it's my misunderstanding. I later saw him do the same thing to someone in the comment section of my local Facebook page. Absolutely embarrassing & disgusting behavior for an old man. Unbelievably poor behavior as a business owner. I've given this place multiple chances between grooming and boarding and every time has been subpar. I have never complained until this time, because I was hoping they could redeem themselves somehow. The staff who is there is nothing but nice people, but the owner is nasty & should not be given the platform and ability to serve the public that he has. I can't recommend avoiding this place enough. The owner was so worried about being mean that he never bothered to do any "quality control" on the services being performed. Mediocre services, friendly staff, but disgusting ownership. Pathetic.
