Halloween night

Dive bar all the way. I love their live music and everybody is laid-back having a good time, but sometimes hard to get a drink from the bartenders. They never fully cleaned up after the flood. Side wall are 1/2 done with handwritten signs from people. There's insulation falling from the ceiling. It seems to be a popular place .

If you're wanting an eclectic vibe that's enjoyable without the need to impress or dress up, this is the place. It's a local dive bar that's been a local favorite for many years and has a best of the best 2024 award. It was closed after the 2024 Hurricanes took most of its dollar bill and unique decor/content out to the Gulf, but it's back to vibing. All I can say about the food is, "who comes for food at a dive bar?!" Grab an appetizer to soak up the alcohol, use an Uber, because drinks are poured generously and the bartenders know how to make drinks. No watered down tourist drinks here. The music scene is live and hits the spot. The owner does charity events and friendly bikers, locals, and tourists all get along and enjoy the eclectic vibe. I miss the dollar bills on the walls that got swept away, but come on down and start adding the flare back to the walls! Love this dive!

Fair prices, great music, a huge parking lot with fair to amazing service. Truly depends on the bar tender - one was very short and uninterested in taking our order and the other was lively, accommodating and helpful. They may give you a wrist band, some people had them and others didn't. Sit at the bar at night. The mosquitos get bad but they have fans blowing at the bar so they never land.

The quirkiest bar I've been in for a long time. Probably driven by this place a million times a decided to stop in. You will never experience a place like this. Service and ambience are wonderful.

Well, it's definitely a dive bar. But one of the most original ones you'll ever go to (I guess they all are, kinda). They've got booze, they've got beers, and they've got a cat. So much eclectic stuff around the bar it's almost an eyegasm. A bar made from a boat. A wood burning stove. A part of a bumper car. A lizard sanctuary (sadly he passed). And even a Ms PAC Man. But don't bring your kids. This is (thankfully) one of those rare places that doesn't allow them to run around while we're trying to get our drink on and sometimes act childish. It's got plenty of parking around back, and is right across the beach. Great location, and even non-surly service from behind the pine. Def a place to check out if in the area!! Just hold your breath in the bathroom

The ultimate dive bar and a must visit while beach bar hopping. Miss the old days when the owner was still around. He was a trip for sure. Fun, nostalgic and cheap drinks/beer. What else could you want??? Make sure to sign a dollar and hang it up. I couldn't find the ones I put in the 90s but heck that was 30+ years ago. Might I'm old.

I am giving this a 5 because it was exactly as it is advertised to be. Pretty much the diviest dive bar I have ever been in and it met all my expectations. It is not for the weak of stomach. Been here a couple of times and it just keeps getting worse but I'm guessing that is the plan. This was the first time I wasn't drunk enough to brave the restroom. Couches smelled like pee right when we walked in. Bar stools were solid and as far as I could tell didn't stink. The bathroom was raunchy and with my horrible gag reflux I decide to skip. The smell of puke a bit overwhelming this time for me. They had the best obscene music on their TouchTunes which I gotta admit I got into. Overall, you get what you get and you can't throw a fit. Even if you did they wouldn't care and that's the point. It's a must visit at least once. Maybe not much more than that :-)

Five stars to any establishment that has cats, drinks and cool music. Give it's a beach spot, that adds another 5 stars. Love love love it!!!

Not really to much to say except it is the diveiest dive bar in the area...maybe the whole state! You have to see it for yourself. They do have a smaller parking lot for maybe 20 vehicles

Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

The bartenders are constantly moving and looking around to refill drinks; top notch service. The snack menu is legit too. The queso nachos were good and perfect for two of us. It may be tough to find a spot at the bar, but you can walk up and order from any area as well. A MUST visit when walking around the beach!

A typical setup with thatched roof bar, lots of tikis and overall fun atmosphere. We were able to pick from their standard menu as well as their brunch menu, and we picked from the latter. We ordered drinks: a captain and diet for hubby, and a quarantini for me which was light and tasty. We shared an appetizer sized ahi tuna, perfectly prepared and served with seaweed salad. Delicious! Our entree was a tasty crab cake served on a pretzel bun and served with tater tots ( our choice), and according to Tom " it was the bomb", as the "combined taste was so good". Our server was just okay; not overly friendly and a bit annoyed when I asked if they served mojitos ( evidently not, had I looked at the menu...) Prices were a bit lower than I'd expect near the beach in St. Pete.
