The canned oxygen was a life saver! My dad had brought a couple bottle for our hike, and I am so thankful that he did! It was literally a game changer/ life saver for the hike! We hit Leroy's Ski & Snowboard Shop afterwards to get more oxygen! It is worth every penny. Especially if you are a "flat-lander" planning on going up the mountain and doing physical exercise (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc). This is a must for anyone with the altitude change. This ski shop has everything you need for outdoor sports/ activities. Any gear you need, you will find here. They sell keychains and other merchandise too.

I topped it off with a couple Pendleton cowgirl hats, and called it a day! It definitely is the star attraction for the area, with shopping, boat rides, ducks, and other things to do. There are 4 or 5 levels, with plenty of stairs and some elevators. There are some great spots to take photos too. There is a grocery store, CVS, and McDonalds among several other businesses. There is a visitor center, which has all kinds of helpful information, maps, and you can get a day pass for certain nearby activities. There seems to be a lot of parking, but when it is packed, it is not enough and the spots are ridiculously small. Enjoy the photos.

When we first walked in, my girls were finishing a protein bar "cause they have roaches" and we were asked to step outside while they finished eating, which I completely understood. When we came back in, an employee asked what we were looking for and I mentioned ballerina dolls and tutus. She followed us over to the doll section. My girls immediately recognized the dolls and one of them picked one up and she took it out of her hand. The employee quickly told her "no, no, no" and said she didn't want them to get dirty. It was honestly so upsetting. We came in specifically to purchase those items, and being told my children couldn't even pick one up felt very unwelcoming. We've visited this store before, but after that experience we we'll not be returning.

My niece found a jacket, I figured would be $15 I brought it to the front and she said my niece could keep it on but could I check the price. The main floor here is large and absolutely packed with all the books, movies, blankets, and odds and ends you could ask for as well as a super cool outside area out back with some tools and other random odds and ends. Overall, this is a cool little thrift store in the absolute middle of nowhere. I've never heard of Running Springs before but this shop had charm and small town vibes that are nice to see when escaping the city.
