I chose Aros as they were suggested to me by a few people. I got a new boat and trailer a few years…read moreprior and was preparing for my annual trip out to Laughlin, NV. The Aros gentleman suggested brand new brakes and 4 new tires. I went for it as I didn't want anything to get in the way of our vacation. I reminded him that this trailer was going to be taken out to the desert in the middle of the Summer. Total bill was about $1200 and I felt really good about the trailer. Brand new tires, brand new brakes. What could go wrong? We left on our trip about 5 days later. We drove about 200 miles when my passenger's brake axle tire blew at towing speed. I took my foot off of the gas and pulled over. The whole tire was completely on fire and we attempted to put it out with sand on the side of the freeway. It took us about 3 minutes but the fire was finally out. Good thing I had a spare. Sadly, within a minute or so, the driver's side tire blew out as well and caught on fire. I guess that the heat transfer through the axle was too much for the tire. Now I was past putting a spare tire on. Luckily I am covered to tow my trailer as it was 100 miles to the next service. I got towed into the service station, dude did his magic and had me done within 4 hours or so. My 6 hour trip to start my vacation turned into 17 hours and a $1500 service call (with 4 new tires) to keep it rolling. The best part is that 4 completely different people (CHP officer, 2 tow truck drivers, and mechanic) all told me that they never suggest the tires that dude put on for me for desert towing. That was great to hear. No problem, I figure. They will make it all good when I get back home. Clearly there was a problem with the service if the boat only went 200 miles before catching on fire. I dragged the trailer back to Aros to go over the problem and take care of the situation. Dude was completely stone faced and blamed it on my accuator. He brought out a tester to show me the problem. Hooked it up, pumped it a few times, my accuator did exactly what it was supposed to do. He was stumped. He just stood there for about 2 minutes with nothing to say. He basically told me that there was nothing that he could do and I was out my $1200 service from them, my $1500 fix it with the mechanic, and my 17 hour travel day. I couldn't believe that he didn't try to make anything right at all. I am a VERY loyal customer and stick with my products and services forever. AROS will never get 1 cent worth of work out of me and I will never suggest them to anyone that I know. Probably the worst service related experience of my life. Please do not ever use this company.

Decided to stay local so stopped at a few places one day but they did not have anything to physically look at until we found G&W. We weren't set on anything specific at first but after talking with Tim and looking at the long picture, opted for the electric step. Told to plan for 1 full day but we lucked out (only took about 3 1/2 hrs). What a huge difference these have made. No more ripped jeans or having to hold onto and slide down the side of the seat all the while holding onto for dear life.

Do NOT take your car here!!! I dropped my car off to get some body work done and was given about a…read moreweek estimate before it was ready. Fast forward a month later, I finally got my car back. Getting the car back in itself was a struggle. I live an hour away and had notified them I was coming days prior to pick up my car, as well as the day of. When I arrived at the shop they told me that my car was not there and it would be there in an hour-hour and a half. It took 4 hours for them to bring my car from who knows where? They claim there is a second body shop they take their clients cars to get painted, which I wasn't informed about at all. All the guys working there were extremely rude and unprofessional, they made me really uncomfortable and seemed upset that I wanted my car back. If that isn't bad enough, a few days after I actually got my car, i received 3 parking citations in the mail from a random address in Pacific Beach from 3 separate dates, all of which when they had my car in their possession. The parking citations totaled to $650 and nobody informed me about them (they would've been left on the windshield). I don't know how or why my car would have been left in a residential area an hour away from the shop I dropped it of at, which leads me to believe someone had either abandoned my car there or had been driving it like their own. The shop owner Sean and his dad? wanted to take no responsibility for the tickets, saying the "body shop" was responsible (they couldn't provide me with a name or address of said body shop) and ultimately told me I could figure it out myself and blocked my number from the shop phone. My entire experience with this body shop has been a nightmare, the guys working there are clearly incompetent and have no morals. I have no idea what they were doing with my car and I hope they won't do it to yours! Save yourself lol
