I don't know how they have 4-5 star reviews…read more So I decided to go to tiger massage and I called in and asked if I could come in an hour. The owner answered and said yes. I got the pricing over the phone and decided I wanted to do 60 min. Once I get in the room, she convinced me to do 90 min. It was $90. So the owner comes in and starts my massage. It was felt therapeutic since I asked for hard. 5 minutes in she asked me where I worked. I told her where I worked and she told me to bring friends & I'll get a discount. She continued to ask me about my benefits at work & I felt very uncomfortable answering. It also defeats the purpose of getting a massage. About 15 min in the phone starts ringing and she stepped out without saying excuse me. She comes back and tells me she has a group coming in soon and that she needs to get the rooms ready. Well, after that, she leaves and different masseuse comes in. This person is a sweet lady and does her job very well. I had her for about 30 minutes without interruptions and the massage was great. After 30 min the group shows up and owner comes in and switches back with the masseuse. I told her I liked her and would prefer her instead. The owner said that I'd had to come back next time to schedule a massage with her. Are you kidding me?!? I quietly lay there uncomfortably as she's massaging me. The whole time I could hear her labored breathing since she was running all over the place trying to get the other group situated. I told her that she didn't even massage my legs so she said fine and added an extra 10 minutes to the massage. After the time was up I show up to the register to pay. The owner gave me a full water bottle and gave me about 20 business cards and says to give it to all my coworkers. I give this place 2 stars because the lady gave me a water bottle and when I was getting a massage, it was good. They had horrible bedside manner and the way she ran her business was very unorganized. She meant well, but her meaning well did not make up for the interruptions and questions about my job.

My first time was this week, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. As far as massages go, he ranks in the top 5 that I have ever had (and I have had a load of massages in my lifetime!!!). Usually I go into appointments just appreciating any relaxation that I get from it, however, with Avi, I actually came away feeling much looser and the tightness in my muscles (especially leg region) felt really pliable and relaxed. So if your goal in getting a massage is to actually result in feeling more flexible and looser with your body, then I highly recommend going to see Avi.

I would see her again…read more I updated review to reflect average between the 2 of them. ************************* From 9-17 (2 stars): I just had my first massage with Avi. I read all of the positive reviews before scheduling an appointment online with him.... that's why I'm scratching my head right now. The reasons for my 2 stars: -1 star because his cell phone kept buzzing alerts in my ear while he worked on me... that's not relaxing to listen to. I think he even answered a text with one hand while rubbing my neck with the other during one point. -1 star because he wore a long sleeved shirt and didn't roll up the sleeves while he worked on me with his elbows and forearms. The material felt itchy and scratchy and unpleasant. I'm not sure he used massage oil on me, I think he just rubbed me down with bio freeze. Uncovered forearms and massage oil would have felt better than a scratchy shirt. -1 star because I am not a religious person would rather not hear bible/new testament stories and quotes while getting massaged. The massage was expensive, $50 for 30 mins of neck release. He has good hands and my neck does feel better, that is the reason for the 2 stars. For that price it would have been nice for him to turn off his phone and roll up his sleeves for 30 minutes. I will try Shiatsu Pro again, but will not use Avi due to the reasons above. I get regular massages 1-2x a month...even though today's first session was only 30 minutes, it could have led to many more. If I scheduled a longer 90 or 120 minute session, I would have spoken up during the massage. But since it was such a short session, I just wanted to get out of there.

Kira did a great whole body massage with focus on these areas in particular. The back walking and massage were moderate to deep per my request and were fantastic. I also requested stretching and the stretching was both pretty intense and very therapeutic--I felt great afterwards. I have had numerous Thai massages at several different places and they all blow Swedish massage and places like Massage Envy out of the water. This was probably the most stretching I've ever had and Kira really worked hard on the areas I requested. Both she and the receptionist were very nice, they requested pertinent medical history before the massage, the facility was very clean and the environment was relaxing. The only negative is that there is a 3% fee for using a credit card but that's pretty minor. I could tell Kira is experienced because she was very confident and efficient and frequently asked how I was doing with the pressure and stretching. Highly recommend Lux Tha Spa, I know I'll be back!
