I don't write a lot of reviews--- but my experience was SO GOOD I can't help myself. Jody is a true expert. She asked a bunch of questions to get to know my hair type and what I like, then dove right in. Gave me an incredible fresh blunt cut (exactly what I wanted!) without cutting off too much length- then gave me gorgeous natural highlights at the exact tone I was looking for. Seriously, I have been getting the same combo for 20 years (trim and partial highlight) and this might be the best one yet. The decor is so chic and modern; all of the furniture is cozy too. The entire salon is very warm and inviting. There's plenty of parking and they offer complimentary coffee, tea, and soda when you visit. As for the service: impeccable. Crissey has been cutting and styling my hair since I was a little girl. She does a phenomenal job and always gives me her honest opinion whenever I want to try a new style or color. The prices at Texxture a Salon are comparable to other salons in the area and better than most of the Sylvania-based salons. The products they use are top-of-the-line and I always leave the salon feeling and looking amazing. So if you're looking for a new salon or a new stylist, give Texxture a Salon a try! I found this place because I saw a review that said someone travelled 4 hours to go here because Alicia did such a great job. I called & they said they had a hypo-allergenic hair color for me. I made the appointment & showed up on time with my mask etc. Alicia seemed super nice and the hair color did not burn my head. I liked the color and it turned out great except the roots were lighter than rest of my hair. My hair was super long and was giving me a head ache. I asked if she was really good with long,, thick & wavy hair. She said yes and I allowed her to cut it. It sadly was very chopped in the back. I was very sad. I did go back a 2nd time for root touch up though because I needed it & MI was just opening. When I asked her to blow dry the back with a little flip, she said something like "Nope not doing that!" I just said nothing and left. But that first visit, I should've known that something was wrong when she didn't want me to see the back of my hair until she curled it . She offered to curl it for free. I'm pretty sure it's because she was trying to hide the 2- layers that were cut without any blending. I finally went back to my regular salon & they had to cut more in order to fix it. So you can decide if you want to go here or not?

Then after coming in for that, I could schedule an appointment. I explained that I know what I want, and I'd just like to schedule an appointment as I did not want to go twice. Apparently that's not how this salon works. Too bad they lost business because of this practice. I'm new to the area and have my hair done monthly, but obviously it won't be done at this salon.
