Of course I got the banana pudding here because that's my favorite and it was so good that I wanted to get another one. I absolutely love this place and I would come again!

Excellent location in Polanco; great treats; and unique drinks! That pretty much sums up Magnolia. You walk in to the bakery and you are greeted by a variety of sweets like cupcakes, cookies and their so very delicious plantain bread pudding. There is seating outside near the sidewalk, but opt to sit upstairs in their outdoor, second floor porch. The breezy cool air, lovely sights of Polanco and whimsical colors and decor of the porch area will keep you comfortable and never wanting to leave. They offer different mimosa flavors, such as the traditional orange juice and champ and the not so traditional red velvet mimosa. For me, the red velvet mimosa was not amazing, but a must try for its distinct taste. If you are craving a sweet alcoholic drink definitely try the chocolate martini, which contains three different types of chocolate. Magnolia's most famous dessert is the pudin de platano and it certainly lives up to its name. The combination of not too sweet mousse, slices of bananas and cake all piled into a little cup is literally heaven on earth. It comes in three different sizes and you can order it to go. The trip to this bakery is worth it for many reasons, but principally to try the pudin. Stop by when visiting the area.

Today's cupcake was not as fresh. It could have been a lot better. The staff was pretty helpful tough.

Wow! What a great breakfast spot! Lots of outdoor seating that's also covered. Great ambiance and…read moredecor! They have a pretty extensive menu and we were drawn to the omelets and chilaquiles. Also the enfrijoladas (like enchiladas covered in a black bean purée sauce). Everything was amazing! We also tried many bakery items from the beautiful display and our favorite was the guava and cheese croissant. Have you ever had the refugiado (guava and cheese strudel) from Porto's in Los Angeles? Yeah, it's like that but next level. Great coffee drinks and lattes too. Truly a fantastic spot!

The place has mainly outside seating, and we were fortunately able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a cafe americano and water, while the girlfriend ordered some juice. After perusing the menu, I opted for enchiladas in red sauce. The girlfriend got scrambled eggs. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.
