Famous popular spot did not disappoint for their signature guava pastry…read more Highlights: - Guava roll: I thought it would be like a cream cheese danish, but it was so much more. Flaky exterior with the guava fruit center lined with more mellow ricotta cheese was perfect. 5 stars - Chocolate concha; was worried it'd be dry but it was soft and I liked the cocoa powder exterior not being too sweet. 4.25 stars - Day of the dead roll with sugar: ok but was a combo of plain bread and a donut leaking more towards bread and I expected it to be sweeter - Line keeps moving even though does get long Midlights. - Menu is written on the wall when you get inside so don't have time to peruse it as once you get in, it's time to order. Also can point at display cases - Crowded in the pickup area if ordered coffee and need to stay outside and not block thr exit Lowlights: - Does get crowded so will be a line If you want to sit down seems like that would be a real challenge. There's a parklet outside with a few tables and a counter area inside before you order from what I saw.

So, I've been having a recurring dream…read more.. About the guava pastries. Holy moly, so good. What a great way to start our day. I got the pastry and a mocha, and we also got a green juice. Everything was amazing. Going to be hard to beat, pastry wise. Even my non-sweet loving bf, loved it. The staff are also so sweet and efficient, and the spot itself is super cute. Will be back.

This is one of the very few boutique panaderías that I have ever discovered in Mexico City. They…read moredon't have a huge selection of pastry and cake selection here, but rather some carefully selected pastries that have been crafted into something special. I saw a lot of wonderful arrangements that were put together for the holidays. Finding this panadería came as sheer luck, because it reminded me about the fact that I needed to purchase some gifts for co-workers. I found two gift creations that were not that expensive and I went ahead and purchased those. They also sell a limited amount of regular pastries to take home, but I figured it was a little late in the evening to think about getting these for the house. Another thing to note that this panadería isn't set-up as a cafe so there are no real seating options.

These pastries are delicious! Got conchas, blueberry roll, almond croissant and chocolate donut and…read morethey were great. You get to select all your pastries and put them on a tray which is dangerously delicious idea. They have a little bit of seating and also offered premade sandwiches and full cakes. **Update** We went back the next morning with four friends for more pastries and coffee and we were incorrectly charged. Bought 1 yogurt and was charged for 2. Got two americanos and one with a splash of milk and was charged for two lattes with lactose free milk. Tried to argue the charge for lattes with the woman who worked there and she said it was two americanos and that the charge was correct. Didn't see the two yogurt charge until I got home. Would be wary if you're a tourist or don't speak Spanish. May be taken advantage of.

This is a lovely little upscale cafe. I had somewhat of a sweet tooth after work, and I was also…read morein the mood for a cappuccino. Even though I didn't really need the extra caffeine in the early evening, I still wanted to try it. This cafe seemed like it had a cool vibe so I came to check it out. I noticed something similar to a cinamon bun called the Rol de queso con Zarzanora. It wasn't exactly the same size as a cinamon bun, it was a little smaller but it actually tasted richer. The capuchino with vanilla flavoring was even better. There are plenty of tables and chairs outside, and that's where I pretty much stayed during my time at the cafe. This is a nice quiet spot!

I used to like this place, but I'm afraid it's gone a bit downhill. I want to throw it a rope and…read moretry and help it climb back up, but there's simply too many other good bakeries in Mexico City for it to be worthwhile. I don't mind all their pastries that don't require refrigeration being left out in the open, but at least cover them to keep the bugs off of them. But just when I thought it was only the open air pastries that were getting swarmed by bees, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the little fruit flies swarming inside the fridge. Normally, I would come here for a cheap sandwich, believe it or not, and grab a pastry while I was at it, but the quality of everything seems to have gone into decline, except the service, which has always been friendly and attentive.
