I was looking for something sweet after dinner found this right next door to where I had dinner (De…read moreMar A Mar) Got in about 25 min before they were closing. And they took my order w/ no problem. They were super nice. Place is super clean and they have good music. So atmosphere pretty cool, great spot to meet friends and hang out or just have a tea, latte, coffee whatever. Crêpe was good but not the best I've had, the dough was thick for my taste and apparently at this spot all the Crêpes have cream cheese. Make sure to tell them no cream cheese if you are lactose intolerant. I asked if they could please remake it because I was lactose intolerant and they fix it with no charge. I was so happy and the fact that they had an amazing attitude made the Crepe taste better. Other than this place is awesome Muchas gracias por sus atenciones y las delicias.

This small bakery is off on a side street and the only reason why I found it was because I just happened to be close to exchanging money. In fact there are at least five or six other small restaurants on the same street. I bought just a single Danish that had some type of pineapple filling. There were so many more like strawberry and orange that were equally tempting. I already knew I wasn't going to go for some heavy chocolate pastry or even a concha for that matter. Calories are important these days and I think I made the right choice with the pineapple danish. The first bite is awesome!

This is one of the very few boutique panaderías that I have ever discovered in Mexico City. They…read moredon't have a huge selection of pastry and cake selection here, but rather some carefully selected pastries that have been crafted into something special. I saw a lot of wonderful arrangements that were put together for the holidays. Finding this panadería came as sheer luck, because it reminded me about the fact that I needed to purchase some gifts for co-workers. I found two gift creations that were not that expensive and I went ahead and purchased those. They also sell a limited amount of regular pastries to take home, but I figured it was a little late in the evening to think about getting these for the house. Another thing to note that this panadería isn't set-up as a cafe so there are no real seating options.

You get to select all your pastries and put them on a tray which is dangerously delicious idea. They have a little bit of seating and also offered premade sandwiches and full cakes. **Update** We went back the next morning with four friends for more pastries and coffee and we were incorrectly charged. Bought 1 yogurt and was charged for 2. Got two americanos and one with a splash of milk and was charged for two lattes with lactose free milk. Tried to argue the charge for lattes with the woman who worked there and she said it was two americanos and that the charge was correct. Didn't see the two yogurt charge until I got home. Would be wary if you're a tourist or don't speak Spanish. May be taken advantage of.

We arrived around 8:30 am and waited for about 15 mins before being seated. I started off with a cappuccino and we ordered two pastries to try: pan de muerto and a cinnamon roll. I had the classic pan de muerto and it was so fluffy with a beautiful orange zest. The cinnamon roll was divine. I wasn't sure about it at first because it's not warmed up but it didn't need to be. It was so soft and gooey on the inside. Normally when cinnamon rolls cool off, they're hard and not as good when they're served fresh. But these hold up very well. It's the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The canela (cinnamon) was delicious. I had the chilaquiles verdes with two scrambled eggs and my husband had the same with three over easy eggs. We asked the server if the salsa was spicy because we like a good kick. She mentioned they weren't spicy but she brought us chile de arbol salsa on the side so we could add for a little kick. The green salsa is quite flavorful. We really enjoyed this dish. Eggs were cooked to perfection. The water is at the table at is infused with rosemary. It looks pretty but it was almost too infused. Otherwise, this is a beautiful cafe with the nicest staff. Dining inside or outside is beautiful. I highly recommend.

I got a latte which was pretty good and the grilled cheese with some kind of pepper spread. The bread was thick with a good crust, the cheese pulled really well but maybe could have had a bit more flavor, and the pepper spread really made it unique. Wish it had been grilled in butter but over all not bad as a snack. The star of the show was dessert; a raspberry pavlova. Don't skip out on the baked sweets, there is a reason that is what they are known for. Honestly think this is a great place to catch up with a friend over coffee and dessert.
