Yesterday, I called the store to follow up on my wedding dress and veil scheduled for pick up last Sept 28 4 pm. I did not receive any update about it; thus, the reason for my call. I was told to call again because it turns out my items are not yet ready. I called again today after work asking about when will it be ready and I just really got annoyed on the manner the staff responded. I didn't like how he raised his voice on me and constantly interrupting while I was still talking. Kindly train your staff to address customer's concerns properly and politely and not sounding as if the customer should just accept poor service!

Spoke to the owner who said how sorry he was and if a receipt can be supplied they will arrange compensation. This I thought was fair enough, it's been excess of 4 months and no coat. Sent the receipt only for a reply 2 weeks later to say that they take absolutely no responsibility and no compensation will be coming. Visited the dry cleaners to see the owner who told me, tough, not my problem, go sue me. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Not only did this affair cost $100 for them to damage the coat and refuse a refund, but the $1,800 coat is ruined. ZERO stars

I found myself being summoned internationally for a 10 day work trip on a moment's notice. Of course, many things I wanted to take with me were sitting in my dry clean pile, as I had been working from home for weeks with no call for my higher end clothing. Drat! What to do? I called my regular cleaner about possible same day service or even two day service and was told that was a "no go." So much for my 20 plus year's of business. So, to Yelp I turned and happened upon Colvin Cleaners. They told me they regularly do same day service as long as the garments are there by 10:30 am and that I could expect them back at or before 3 pm. Eureka!! I drove like a mad woman straight there from the southern tier and arrived at 10:32 am. Despite my tardiness for the 10:30 deadline, the counter staff was very friendly, bright and cheerful and greeted me with a "how can we help?" They set up an account for me, checked in my items, and told me I could expect a text when the dry cleaning could be picked up, all in under 5 minutes! I decided to run errands while in Buffalo for my trip. Sure enough at about 2:30 pm, I got a text informing me my clothes were ready. I arrived, to find yet more bright happy and helpful service staff at the counter. I paid a very reasonable sum for my clothes and was on my way. This place is great and advertises that they employ green cleaning methods to boot! If you are in the Buffalo area, make this business your dry cleaners!!!!! You will not regret it!

If there's any problem, management will call with empathy and fix it. Had a minor mix-up last week and CC handled it with superb care and service. They employed their team or tailors and delivered my items in a timely manner. Can't imagine trusting anyone else with my treasured items. Not only do they value the way they care for clothes, but they value customer service. So grateful. Do yourself a favor and invest in the care of your clothes by entrusting CC for your items.

I washed one of my blouses by accident with a darker coloured shirt and the color bled in the wash leaving the blouse with dark spots/stains. At home a friend suggested to use vinegar on the spots and not to dry it, I figured it was the best idea to take it into PIKES to see what they could do - I dropped it off on a Monday and explained what I used and what happened, it was then sent out of location that week to be fixed and then returned to PIKES Friday where I received a call that I missed. When I went to PIKES the next Monday to check-in the shirt was still sitting in a bag soaking wet! PIKES sent out the shirt, decided not to touch it because it smelled of vinegar and sent it back letting it sit wet for a week. Monday when I went to check in the lady at the front mentioned they didn't touch the shirt.. telling me if I'd like for them to try it could potentially ruin it - the shirt was already ruined with stains so I agreed to go forward again - she then "sent out" the shirt once again.. A week and a half went by and I'm finally able to pick it up - the shirt was hung up dried but unfortunately still with all the stains. * After paying and taking it home extremely disappointed.. a friend offered to clean the shirt at home as a last effort - she was able to remove ALL THE STAINS. I still can't believe it. I called PIKE right away and asked what they did to the shirt (they had it for 2 1/2 weeks!)- she didn't have an answer - She told me the owner would reach out to explain, I wanted to better understand what happened but never received a call.. paid for PIKE to try to remove the stains and they didn't even attempt. Feeling scammed. Still yet to be contacted (will update if they do..).

He unfortunately lost his dry cleaning ticket and when he went to pick up his clothing without his ticket....They told him they could not give him his clothes without one. He went back again with picture in hand of his suit and photo ID they vehemently denied any willingness to help look for the suit without the ticket and told him he was basically SOL without one . Like how hard is it to look through recent unclaimed clothing to find it???? So disgusted with this place. I read that cleaners can sell unclaimed clothing. So they profit when clothing is not picked up and/or unclaimed or Lost!!! Pretty shady business practice if you ask Me!!! So please beware don't ever loose your dry cleaning ticket!!!!!
