We just made it to the motel in time for our mother's day supper. We did not see any of the sights for that day. They were squeezed in on Sunday so we had no time in Jasper to walk around the shops. The bus was very uncomfortable. No one came to tell us why we were stopped so long at Hinton until my husband went to see. He fell off the bus and scraped his knee on the side that he had a boot on for a broken ankle. All in all it was a terrible tour. It was our first and last bus tour ever!

So we need to get Chinese visa…read more The Chinese Consulate is in Calgary, since we didn't want to go to Calgary (twice), We search in google and find visatochina, who is authorized to accept visa applications and take them to the consulate for you and they are also the largest visa provider in Edmonton because we found a lot of travel agencies collect passports for them. They are in the west end and the office is beautiful. The visa costs $92, and they charge only about $33 service fee on top of that which is super reasonable. If we go to Calgary ourselves, the gas will cost us much more than that. It takes about one week to get the visa back, pretty fast. You can also pay more to get rush service, which is only 3 days, but we had no need for that. The visa application form, as well as all the required documents are available on their website. They checked my documents carefully to make sure everything is fine. For the payment, they take cash, debit and credit card. But for the credit card, they charge 3% service fee which made me a little uncomfortable. When they explained to me that the Chinese visa service center don't take credit card and the charge service only to cover their expenses which is charged by the bank I think it's acceptable. After they take all the documents and money, they'll give you a receipt with a pick up form. On the form, there is a pickup date which you can pick up your passport on that date of after because they guarantee the time Our passport came back exactly as they promised and their receptionist is very kind and served us with great patience. The tour stoped at five different breweries. Our tour visited: - Bent Stick Brewing - Situation Brewing - Ally Cat - Blind Enthusiasm Brewing - Yellowhead Brewing Each stop you basically got a flight of four beers to try (with the exception of Yellowhead where you got a pint). It's a lot of beer, but over 6.5 hours so no one on our tour had too much to drink. Plus you got to meet some of the owners/brewers who explained a bit about what they do and what makes them unique. I won't review each brewery but they were all good, and in fact Bent Stick maybe my new favourite! In addition to the tour you also got a meal at Situation Brewing, a small goodie bag and discounts at each brewery if you wanted to buy some beer. Our tour guide (Tom) was friendly and did a great job taking us around. The bus we were on was clean as well. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! It's an excellent way to spend a Saturday.

We only found this out after calling the company when we saw that our credit card was refunded... no email regarding this was ever received in our inbox or junk folders. Either way, cancelling tickets after they've been issued to the public, and plans/trips have been made is so completely unprofessional. The customer service on the phone was shockingly rude and ambivalent.
