Our…read moregranddaughter spent all eight of her elementary and middle school years at Odyssey Day School and experienced tremendous success in every academic area. She's a high school student now and is in the top 10% of her class academically, thanks in part to the patient and knowledgeable staff who helped her work to her potential in a caring atmosphere. I've visited the school several time and can tell you what I've observed. Not only have the teachers at Odyssey provided resources to allow the students to learn and grow, but they guided them in positive ways and encouraged social awareness, something that's very important to our family. Their student workshops are interesting and well planned. My granddaughter had the opportunity to learn about photography, rocketry and textile arts, among other non-traditional subjects. We enjoyed visiting the school and socializing with other families during pot luck suppers, picnics and ice cream socials and the International Week festivities. We found Odyssey very affordable thanks to financial aid, but even if we hadn't qualified, we would have found a way to send her to Odyssey. All in all, five stars.

The parties run back to back so there is no buffer between the party before you to get their stuff cleaned up so you can get your stuff set up. Other than that I would definitely have another party with them and recommend them to anyone looking to host a party for their kids!

My 2 year old daughter can do so many things herself - put on her coat and shoes and using safety scissors for example - and she is SO proud that she can. I think a lot of the way she is willing to take on new challenges and keep trying even if she fails comes from the encouragement and structure she gets at Little Achievers. I also love how Christy focuses on helping the kids learn how to be good people. She is firm about manners and making sure the kids treat the staff and each other kindly and with respect. Goddard Saugus is a brand new, beautiful facility, with great teachers who like what they do and are always eager to share what your child is up. Goddard also has a digital system called Tadpoles, that offers and app for receiving daily updates on naps, meals and activities and a mid day picture, which eases your mind at work. The owners are always onsite taking care of the day to day needs of the business and building etc - leaving the teachers to focus on taking care of the kids. Great place.

When we started at the school, he had difficulties forming clear sentences. Now he can clearly communicate, knows his alphabets and numbers (in sign language as well), and started doing simple maths! The facility and curriculum are fantastic. The teachers are wonderful and Mr. Dave (owner) and Ms. Shannon (director) are great. Everyone takes such good care of the school. The owner is almost always on site and very responsible to any inquiries and emails. Even the families that have their kids enrolled there are amazing. My son became good friends with all his classmates and loved attending playdates and birthday celebrations. Unfortunately, our family relocated to a different state so my son had to leave. During the pandemic, Sunshine was quick to recognize the threat and react accordingly, but also quick to work with the state to reopen safely. I have heard from so many parents about their care center that took a huge cash deposit and suddenly closed for good with no refunds, or that operate extremely short hours each day. Sunshine's hours allow working parents to comfortably balance career and family. Our child loves to go to Sunshine, and is always bringing home something new that he learned.
