Special thanks to the children who joined us in the first show to play tambourines, maracas, and drumsticks. In the second show for older children, others volunteered to demonstrate their new ventriloquial skills after choosing a puppet of their choice from the big drum case. Volunteers were encouraged to say their first name into the microphone and try moving the puppet's mouth three times as they said "One, Two, Three" with their new puppet voice. Special thanks to Mr. Jarod, the teacher who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY! He wore our ventriloquist face mask, played the "ringy, dingy, thingy" and "sang" our "No Bully Zone" original song with Chelsea The Chimpanzee. (No, they did not sing at the same time... we're not that good!)

They do "homework" in daycare to ensure they are advancing academically for their age. If there is a concern, such as speech, Lisa will have a discussion to allow you to take the next step. I would highly recommend this facility.

Erolynn in Room 4 has been an instrumental educator for our wild and very extroverted 2 yr old. He comes home having learned new skills, song, words, animals, good behaviors, etc that I know for 100% have come from her style of gentle nurturing and support. If it was possible to keep him in her class through his daycare years I would, and I've tried:) She has taught him how to interact "gentle" with his peers and others, giving him and his classmates so much love it's expanded his horizons exponentially. He rushes to see her every day and has meant so much. As we enter into the last week of a wonderful year, I couldn't imagine leaving a review without recognizing the amazing staff that greet every family with so much enthusiasm and vigor each day, Ms Patty and Ms Andrea bring the kids in pumped for a fun day where they feel so loved. Abby and Joan and Ally in the preschool class are exceptional at nurturing young minds and young big emotions with our 4 yr old, helping him articulate and express his interests, make friendships and be respectful to themselves and others. Finally the swim staff, Brendan & Danielle who have helped generate a love of the water, safety, fun and excitement are incredible. There have been so many wonderful people that are a part of this place, we are so grateful.

She is basically mute, and they didn't tell me or ever once encourage her to speak. I told the director, Stephanie about the multiple OTHER policy violations I noticed and she did absolutely nothing about it, so I pulled her out, reported them to the state, and I'm sending my kid to therapy. Don't send your kids here, there is an investigation forthcoming. I have seen other small children being pulled up from the floor by their arms and being called names. This place is rife with abuse.

Very disappointed with how things were handled today at the Marblehead YMCA. All last summer and…read moreeven this past week, our kids were allowed to go down the slide without issue. Suddenly today (July 13 around 1:30 PM), we were told our daughter couldn't use the slide without passing a swim test -- something we were never informed about, and something that's not listed anywhere online. What's worse is that the rules seem to change depending on which lifeguard is working. When I asked for a full list of pool rules (just like I previously asked for slide/indoor pool hours), no one -- not the lifeguards or front desk staff -- could give me any answers. The so-called "manager" on duty refused to give her name, was incredibly rude, and wouldn't explain why the rules had changed or where I could even find them. Her only explanation was, "New year, new rules." That's not an acceptable - she was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and rude! For the record, I even called in June to ask specifically about the indoor slide and was told nothing about swim tests or new restrictions. YMCA members deserve consistency, transparency, and basic respect. Right now, that's not what we're getting at the Marblehead location.

I have known Di Ciruolo for several years now and I'm so proud and excited to endorse her business!…read moreEver since I've been a mom, Di has offered help in recruiting nannys for me! I'm beyond busy and overwhelmed (Aren't most moms?) much of the time, especially since the addition of baby #2. I'm not sure where or how Di (mom of 2) finds time to do what she does (she must be superwoman) but she tirelessly sorts through resumes to find the most appropriate nanny for each family! I am so thankful to have her in my life and I know that any time I need professional help (and, knowing that the person is a safe, decent member of society) that she will be there for me! Can't recommend Di or SITTER STUDIO highly enough!

She is freshly coming off of moving into a new home with two babies... a two and a half year old fun and feisty young girl and a 4 month old colicky baby. On top of that, her husband had the new house in a state of construction chaos! Needless to say, she was feeling MORE than overwhelmed. I suggested that she check out Sitter Studio, as I'd heard good things. Dianna Ciruolo came to the rescue and went out of her way to interview several candidates to be her mother's helper so that my sister could finally unpack some boxes! She could not be happier. There is no greater gift to a new mom other than the gift of time, and Di went out of her way to find someone qualified to help. They have weekly dates now and this mother's helper has greatly come to the rescue!

Cindy not only provides a clean (I mean SPOTLESS!) safe and very "home-like" space for our child, she's has been super helpful for me as a first time mom in everything from introducing solids, getting on a regular nap schedule, transitioning from breast milk to cown's milk, you name it. We've also been quite picky about what our child eats and Cindy has been so flexible, patient and accommodating. Cindy also provides breakfast, lunch, snack and milk - I can't overstate what a huge benefit this is. Not having to pack lunch or worry about breakfast before we head to work in the AM is so great! She also provides wipes so all we have to worry about is diapers. We interviewed several daycare options in the area and felt this was the best fit and we have been happy with our decision ever since. I would recommend Cindy to any family looking for childcare at any age - I've seen her work with the older kids and am impressed and amazed by her ability to simultaneously manage an infant, toddlers and pre-school aged kids - keeping them all entertained and with a wide range of age appropriate toys and activities. She's amazing!
