Sarah the lead in his infant class was awesome as well as the other caretakers. Miss Anna, Miss Sabrina, Miss Sally, Other Miss Sarah, Rebecca, Jen and any others that crossed his path. He is now in toddlers for the past two months and he loves it! He is learning something new all the time. The app is only as good as the information provided on it by the teachers. Love getting updates and pictures and notes as to what the focus was of the day so that we can bring that home and continue to work on it. I'm still learning the names of these teachers but they are all wonderful! I do know that there are two Miss Kates who are a delight! The front office is very helpful. Jessica is always willing to help. They all know the kids names and are all great! Overall the place is clean and the teachers and staff are great! They notify you immediately of any bumps or scrapes. If they think he is not doing well or may need your attention they don't hesitate to call. They are all very attentive and very special. I would highly recommend this Beverly school to others. It's not easy leaving your grandchild or child but Bright Horizons makes it much easier. I love this YMCA!! I started going here for the gym and other activities and there are a number…read morethings to do here! With a membership here, you get access to several locations in the north shore and they're all technically your "home" location. I've only used the gym here but the equipment is TOP NOTCH! They just finished a renovation and everything is pretty much brand new. They also have a turf area and a punching bag you can use (though you can't use it if a class is going on). Not to mention, the building (including the locker rooms) is very clean. Outside of that, they have open pickleball, open swim and several leagues that go on throughout the year. Also, this location has a little cafe where you can hang out and get a drink if needed! You definitely get your bang for your buck here. If you're on the fence, go in for a tour just to see how amazing this place is!

But once he started at the Phoenix School, things turned around. He came home after the first day and said, "It's like the teachers aren't even teachers--they're just people!" The caring relationship with his teachers, the community at the school, the way his teachers push him to do more than he thought he could and support him as he learns to push himself has been amazing. He loves school now and is thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. The way they integrate learning across all their activities is special. Students learn all the academic skills throughout all their activities, along with specialized practice in, say, math or writing, especially as they get older. They also use the community at large as their classroom with frequent out-of-the-classroom learning experiences that engage students far more than anything I've seen at any other school. Teachers support students as they produce high-quality work, with autonomy and ownership over their own learning. Teachers are among the most dedicated professional educators I've ever met. They work hard to create a community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members dedicated to the well-being and education of students as complete people.
