Egg rolls are homemade. The lemon ginger chicken is perfection and the waitress is very kind. Love this cozy little Chinese restaurant.

Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, I promise you, you'll miss it if you don't look for it! Service was great, and food was delicious! Cooked fresh to order, try a little bit of everything, you will not be a disappointed! Check @eatinglafayette on Instagram and Facebook for more Lafayette food things!

The best Chinese food in Lafayette hands down! Everything on the menu is great and the service is fantastic! Very quaint restaurant that's worth the visit.

I've probably been here way too many times to almost call in my dining room now. I love this place. The food is probably one of the best Chinese food I have had. The buffet is pretty standard Noodles, Fried Rice and a lot of good chicken preparations. I personally like the Soups and the Cheese Wantons as well. Off the buffet, the food is amazing as well. I love the chicken and soft tofu. It's my favorite, along with the fried prawns. It's a must visit. I would totally recommend this place to others. It's a lot of good food. The owners are amazing. We always have a good time when we go there. Just two things that I'd want to point out is that this place needs a little bit of an overhaul. Also, I'd like to see a change in the buffet once in a while. Otherwise, all great.

This was my first visit to Magic Wok as I continue in my search for delicious Chinese food in Lafayette. I ordered a spring roll, a cup of wonton soup (I had read another review praising it), and for my entree I chose Mongolian Beef. When I unpacked the dinner at home, I quickly discovered my entree had been switched to what appears and tastes like Beef with Chinese vegetables, not what I ordered. The wonton soup was just okay, and the egg rolls were over cooked. Looks like my search must continue.

We've been hearing good things about Spicy House and finally had a chance to try it early on a…read moreSunday evening. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant and were seated immediately by a friendly employee who also acted as our server. The aesthetic is simple and clean with some Asian vibes but chairs with french words, so a bit of a mix. We ordered a lot of different things to try, sorry I didn't take more photos. The broth for the wonton soup was incredibly garlicky and flavorful. Potstickers were as expected. Scallion pancakes were hot, crispy, and delish. Pork intestines were an adventurous order and they were surprisingly good. Chicken with black pepper and double cooked pork slices were super flavorful. Sweet and sour ribs were tender and more complex than anticipated. Baby bok choy and green beans were really nice quality and huge portions. The chicken fried rice was some of the best I've had. The server was attentive and helpful with questions. We have enough leftover for another meal, and the prices were fair for the quality. We will return!
