Magic towing is a terrible business. Cadillac roadside assistance chose Magic to come and tow my car to the dealership. They were supposed to arrive 11:19, then 12:45, then 1:15, then 1:30, then 1:45, then 2:00, they never came.i called multiple times and someone would answer the phone and then hang up (10 calls). They never came and never called. The only time they answered the phone was the first call and told me they would be here at 12:45. Nothing after that. I later found out Magic Towing llc used be named something else, changed because they were constantly in legal trouble. Same group, same terrible service. read more

This place is RIDICULOUS!! My allstate road club contacted them for a jump start which should of took 20 mins tops. Waited 4 HOURS! Then not only did not show up at all they lied to my roadside assistance club and told them I wouldn't sign a liability waiver when they never even contacted me at all! Worst experience with a tow company ever. Had roadside assistance send them after me. Est time was 120 mins. Got several texts stating they were arriving soon, got a final text saying they had arrived. 3 hours later they told my service provider that they were cancelling as they didn't have a driver. They kept telling my roadside assistance that they were 5 mins away and would call when they were arriving. I wouldn't use this company if the offered me a free tow. Also they are related to another company Breakthrough Towing that was involved in predatory towing. read more

I had a positive experience with Magic Towing. I wish I got his name because he should be acknowledged after reading all these poor reviews. Yes, everybody's experience will be different but I can say that I have nothing negative to review about. He called a half hour before he reached my location and was there before the estimated time window. Yes people..you will have to wait for a tow but that's a given when and if they are helping someone else or where they are coming from. Shout out to him for making all these poor reviews just that. If the company is reading this he came to my rescue on July 23, 2022 before 4pm in Shelby Township. Thank you for not being a bad review and for hopefully making others happy as well. everytime my insurance company uses them its always two plus hours before they come out...majority of the time they are complete no- shows... not even sure why they are in business .... On one occasion I waited two hours just to be told they said I canceled the tow when I was clearly still stranded with my newborn... not dependable at all read more

Didn't have roadside assistance through my insurance, so I paid for service, they gave me Magic Towing llc, was suppose to arrive between 1:24-1:54am, was receiving tracking through text messaging and a contact number, the last text message I received was Magic Towing "should be on site or arriving soon" that was at 1:55am, I waited and waited, No Magic Towing, I called the contact number, no answer, I had a missed call from a different number from the contact number, called that missed call number back within 2 minutes of missing it no answer called several times, finally an operator answered, to told her no one has showed up to give me a jump on my battery that I paid for service, she put me on hold to contact the driver, he told her he came to my location, he NEVER showed up and refused to try to come, the operator told me I will have to pay for service again $92 for them to send someone else out, I refused and demanded a refund on the 1st purchase I made, I will NEVER refer or give Magic Towing my business EVER!!! I would have rated them a zero if I could. The ETA was suppose to be 6:05 p.m. since they did not show up by 6:20 and did not update the service text so I called and the voice mail is not set up. It is now 7pm and I had to contact another tow service. Good thing I was not on the freeway. read more

Driver was rude the entire time. got very upset with me because I waited in a safe place 1 block away from my stranded car at 2am. Driver refused to use his gps and had me give turn by turn instructions for a 39 min ride. lastly, I tried to make small talk since we had a 30 min ride ahead of us, he told me stop talking to him and concentrate on where the car is going. I waited nearly 2hrs for them to pick up a truck for them to say they aren't allowed to pick the truck up from impound. Let me mention I told them the truck was in impound when I called and they said they will be 10 minutes away. I called nearly 10 times after an hour passed, Magic Towing sent me to voicemail all 10 times. Liberty Mutual called Magic Towing for them to come pick up my vehicle in the Detroit Downtown area. Do you think they showed up NOPE! I call them to see what was the problem and the guy said oh my driver called you and you didn't answer. LIE because my call log showed nothing. They were dispatched through Quest who found Fortegra, who found Magic Towing. If you are going to represent a "Black Owned Business," don't hang up on your clients simply because they want the status. I needed a simple "Jump." The app continued to state 12 mins away. Wait 2hrs. The guy answered dispatch but kept hanging up. This place is HOT GARBAGE! I asked Quest to fire them as a provider. As a 1st responder, I did not need the ignorant games. allstate connected me to this company (after they screwed up the previous tow request, but that's another story). as the expected delivery time got closer, it dawned on me that they might go to the original pickup location nearly 30 miles away, so i called to make sure they had the right address, and i was told that the driver was 15 minutes away. once all of that was confirmed, i rest assured that allstate's screw up would soon be resolved. about 45 minutes later, i called and no one answered. there was no option to leave a message. i tried texting them and found out it's a LAN line. i also tried calling. allstate back and got someone whom i actually pitied bc he sounded like he didn't know what to do. then after about another 20 minutes, i got a call from my cousin (who'd been waiting for hours to meet the tow truck driver at the correct location and then went to the wrong location - a vacant lot where allstate erroneous told them to go - to wait for the 2nd tow truck) to tell me the tow truck finally arrived. this was painful. i immediately opened a bottle of wine when i got home. sheeeesh read more

My truck was disabled in the parking structure at my employer. I specifically requested a tow truck with a clearance of 6'11 to fit into the parking structure to remove my vechicle and this Magic Towing LLC still scheduled a flat bed tow truck to come out. When the tower contacted me prior to arrival I made sure I informed her of my specific instructions of the 6'11 clearance of the parking structure and the tower stated that she was not made aware of this notation. The tower informed me that the dispatch will contact me. The dispatch never did. When I contacted the dispatch again they informed me that the correct tow was in route and was 10 minutes away. Which was a lie this person told me to get me off of the phone! After waiting a 1/2hr I called the dispatch back repeatedly because no one was answering the phone. Clearly the dispatch was screening my calls because they stopped accepting my calls and kept sending me to a voicemail that was not set up. Dealing with this tow truck company was a complete waste of my time. The fact that they deliberately left me stranded was unethical, unprofessional and was pretty fucked up! I would have respected this company more had they informed that they were unable to assist me but instead they gave me false hope leaving me stranded. And whoever was working dispatch on 6/2/2022 between 11am and 1230pm deserved to be fired all around. For these reasons alone I would not recommend this raggedy ass tow truck company to no one. read more
