Very affordable, about 1/2 what others quoted, friendly, and helpful, car had died, tried to jump it ourselves and + cable sparked a little, called for a tow, driver asked what happened when he got there, I explained the issue and what I thought it was, he agreed, it was likely a short somewhere. Got the car home, next day I looked at it, sure enough the short was at the terminal connector, it had corrosion, cleaned it up and all is good. read more

On February 7th, 2022 this towing company rushed to the scene of my crash before the EMS and State Police could attive, on I-696 Eastbound after the Gratiot exit, in Roseville, Michigan. After I was released from the trauma unit weeks later, I received a huge bill, with misinformation on it. They claimed that my vehicle was left abandoned on February 28th in front of a residential home in Warren, MI. They filed this fraudulent report with the circuit court in Warren, MI asking for ownership of my wrecked/totaled 2008 Ford Taurus X. They didn't have to lie about where my vehicle was towed from, or the date it was towed, unless they have some illegal towing activity that they are trying to shield from law enforcement and the judicial system. I wouldn't recommend Macomb Towing/Able Towing (which is the name on some of the tow trucks) to anyone. Use caution when dealing with this irreparable towing company. So they towed my car from my work parking lot on a day I left early and 1 1/2 hours later of calling still no answering. I took a Uber from work to the address on the internet and it was a house. My Uber had to go so I walked to the gas station and still am waiting. So disappointing especially right around the holidays. read more

Got stuck in Downtown Detroit during an ice storm at 1:30 a.m. with a dead battery and they were able to send someone to me within a half hour to give me a jumpstart and get be back on the road. Would definitely recommend using them again in the future. read more

My car broke down the other day and Timmy towed me to a local shop he suggested Golden Greek Tire & Auto to get my car looked at. Timmys service and promptness was excellent. He arrived before his quoted time and had me towed and to a shop in under an hour. The shop he brought me too hooked me up because he referred me, and they got my car back on the road the next day !!! read more

Was told they would bring the proper equipment to tow my AWD automatic Jaguar which was stuck in park. They said they would lift one end and use a tow dolly at the other end so all wheels would be off the ground and it would not be dragged or forced onto a flatbead with locked wheels risking damaging my transmission or AWD components. They showed up abt 15-20 minutes later then promised with a FLATBED and NO TOW DOLLY! When the guy arrived I inquired about how he planned to tow my vehicle and he said he was just going to drag it up onto the flatbed. So I said let me call the dealer and/or Allstate (who was providing the roadside assistance) to run that by them and if that was ok. As soon as I said that the driver acted impatient and said he didn't have time to wait around and left. So needless to say I used another tow service (United Tow) who used the proper equipment and took care of me. read more

My elderly Mother's vehicle wouldn't start and she was stranded. She contacted her mechanic, who referred her to Macomb Towing. She called and was told the wait would be 45 minutes (I was present at this point and overheard the call). It was over 3 hours before the vehicle was finally towed. She and I both called a couple of times and we either got voicemail or a really nice lady who tried to help. We both appreciated her efforts, but did not appreciate having to wait over three hours in 92 degree heat. Macomb Towing, Please remember that you are dealing with human beings. Each call needs to be processed and communicating to your customer if there is a substantial delay should be mandatory. Had I known that it would be 3 hours and not 45 minutes, I could have gotten my Mother home and out of the heat. I'm 56, my Mother is 89, and in the heat that we had today, either of us could have ended up in the hospital or worse. We have had no explanation and no apology. read more
