Today my car had to be towed and this is the company Allstate sent out. I got updates and he even called me giving an ETA. He came a lot sooner than the original estimated time. After working a 12 hr shift I realized that my tire had a slow leak. I called progressive for road side assistance. I was given a 45 min time window. I called magic towing and the dispatch said he could have someone in a shorter time. When the tow guy came he was swearing and telling me about another customer. He shared that he almost pooped on himself. Upon changing my tire he cursed and I asked what's wrong. He said that his tool died that could get the lug nut off. He then proceeded to call the dispatcher and share he couldn't get them off. He told me I will have to tow my car. He takes his supposed dying machine and puts the lug nut back on. I can't believe how cruel someone could be. This man look well into his 70s and he looked like he should've been asleep somewhere. It almost appeared as though it was all planned. I called the dispatcher and he lied and said he would send someone in 15 min. That imaginary person never came. I'm now waiting for another tow company who is 1 hr out. if I could give negative stars I would, I work for a collision company and it just so happened, my fiancés car was getting sent into for an accident. They typically use Dan's towing so this was already a red flag. They attempted to contact my fiancé stating they were at the house to pick the car up, so we look outside aand nobodys there. so they called the number provided below automated message that they're at the house. after trying to confirm he was at the right address he hung up without saying a word. thinking it was a mistake, we called again. It rang twice before going to voice mail, meaning he not only had his phone on him, but saw the phone call pop up and sent it to voicemail that hasn't even been set up yet. personally if you're looking for a tow guy, Not worth even attempting to use their services read more

I would give a ZERO if I could. Was assigned through Allstate Roadside. Unable to call or contact. Tracker said they had been here but never saw nor heard from them. Called Roadside and had them contact Magic. They patched me in on the call. They kept saying 15 minutes. I told them i wanted a number. The guy wouldn't give it up. If they're that concerned about harassing phone calls, maybe they should drastically improve their service. The only thing that qualifies them as Magic is they are Masters of Illusion. Seeing all the reviews, i guess ill join in... magic towing was dispatched to me by my insurance provider. I placed the service order at 12:31am. At 2:20am, i receive a text saying magic towing will be arriving in 12 minutes -- 90 minutes later, still not here. Not even answering their phone. I was confident they'd at least show up, then i read all the reviews. One star average, everyone says they don't show up. Its now 4:30 am and im finally being dispatched to a different service provider. They'll probably be arriving around the time im supposed to be waking up for the day. If I could give -100 stars I would. First the guy puts my car on truck he's not supposed to. Dealership said he literally dragged my car in when it's an AWD AND CAN ONLY BE PLACES ON A FLATBED in order to make sure my drive train is safe. The dealership explained how horrible the guy was when dropping it off. Then when I try to call and ask the guy about it he admits it and then hangs up on me telling me my car will be fine. Then I go to pick up my car from the dealership and they showed me the nasty mess he left in it from hooking it up! As someone whose family owns a towing company up north, you should be ashamed and out of business! Progressive linked me to this through roadside assistance so I did not get to pick. This company never shows up when they are contacted by roadside through insurance. I was stranded from 9:30pm until 2am when a different tow company agreed to come get me. I put in for a row at 10pm. They said they would arrive around 12:30. I was trying to call no one ever answered phone right to voicemail. So I happen to look up the company then saw all the horrible reviews. After the 12:30 time passed I put in for another tow. The same company picked it up except with a 2:30 expected time. I knew they were never going to show. Called around to 24 hour towing places. One was finally able to come get me. Cost me money out of pocket. But at least I wasn't waiting anymore. The tow driver that did show up explained to me that this company is probably running a scam claiming the show up and still collect around $300 to lie that they were there.
