She was very communicative during the process and surprisingly attentive and efficient, considering she had several customers she had to work on whilst she worked on me. I don't care who tries to bash on this hair salon it's the BEST in town, I can promise you that! Not many hair dresser can live up to that expectation. I've been coming here for 10years and never been let down. The people who work here are professionals at what they do(except for this intern called "Samantha" don't let her touch your hair) I always was cut my hair with Rosey (who is the owner) especially when I have special events to attend I explain to her what I want to be done and does exactly what I picture in my head. It's gets really busy on the weekends and around the holidays. So I recommend you to make an appointment, arrive as soon as she opens(if you arrive before an appoint she'll take you, or let "B"/"flor" (the other hair dressers do your hair) Rosey is such a skillful business women she's also a barber and great with kids hair(of both sexes) Week days isn't a full house unless it's a holiday as I mentioned earlier. So if you catch yourself waiting it's worth it. I personally prefer waiting and having my hair done the way I want it then to go to an empty hair salon where they'll mess it up. "Busy" should tell you that they're doing something right that other places aren't. You must know Rosey does NOT take credit or debit. So you have to take cash or write out a check. There's also a ATM across the street and at the liquor/market called "jr.'s market". AND Finally There's always parking in the small street. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I came was for my sister's wedding to get style my hair with soft waves. Instead I walked out with very tight 80's looking curls. They were extremely crispy from all the hair spray they used. I didn't freak out instead I went home spritz some water and pulled on the curls until they become a bit softer. Not really what I wanted but it was better than what I walked out of there with. The second and last time I came here was to cut my hair. I was growing out my bangs and I wanted to get long layers on my hair. Instead she cut short layers all over my hair. My hair was shoulder length so the first layer was about two inches long. My hair looked very nappy and there was no way of fixing it. I was so frustrated that I cried when I got home. The next day I got up the nerve to go back and ask for my $20 back. I showed the owner the terrible job and after 15 minutes of arguing she gave me my money back. It wasn't really about the money, it was the principle of the whole thing. I mean there was no saving that hair cut. It took several months to fix it. I know it's just hair but when your 20 and in college, that shit matters lol!
