My mother is 82 and has vascular dementia. Her left hand swelled up like a balloon 3 days ago and her wedding ring was causing the finger to swell twice its size! Dementia patients are sensitive to situations more so than others. Finally, she agreed to let us cut the ring off her finger. Time is of the essence as the mind can change immediately. In less then 20 minutes, Mr. Peñaloza was at our door and the ring was off in just a few minutes with no pain, no fuss. He was calm, kind and my mother had no issues. Of course, now she's mad at me, but at least she can keep her finger!!! I will most certainly be taking the ring to him after COVID has died down for repair. Today I brought in several bags to this location and they were not taken in due them being vintage. I questioned the rationale as all of mine are in resell condition and was advised the manager is "picky". I also questioned why an altered Louis Vuitton bag was in sale in the case when the value is highly deminshed on altered bags and could get no answer. I am now at the Perrin Beitel location an they are approving the loan for every one of my bags in an amount over 1k. I'd installed a sapphire crystal on the watch -- it normally uses an acrylic one -- but it interfered with the watch movement and my ability to secure the movement to the case. I couldn't figure out why so I brought the watch to Mr. Simon. Experience counts. He found the issue, rectified it and when I received the watch back, not only did it "run like a swiss watch", but cosmetically it appeared cleaner. Mr. Simon defines the word professional and hands down, I would trust him with ANY make or model of precision timepiece. His pricing is also more than fair.
