I'd installed a sapphire crystal on the watch -- it normally uses an acrylic one -- but it interfered with the watch movement and my ability to secure the movement to the case. I couldn't figure out why so I brought the watch to Mr. Simon. Experience counts. He found the issue, rectified it and when I received the watch back, not only did it "run like a swiss watch", but cosmetically it appeared cleaner. My mother is 82 and has vascular dementia. Her left hand swelled up like a balloon 3 days ago and her wedding ring was causing the finger to swell twice its size! Dementia patients are sensitive to situations more so than others. Finally, she agreed to let us cut the ring off her finger. Time is of the essence as the mind can change immediately. In less then 20 minutes, Mr. Peñaloza was at our door and the ring was off in just a few minutes with no pain, no fuss. He was calm, kind and my mother had no issues.
