Because I wanted it NOT to appear as though a toddler had wrapped it, I needed help. Desperately! Hence, I found this quaint, adorable boutique with the assistance of Google. I gave them a call and spoke with Michelle, who was just so gracious. When I described the size and shape of the gift, she assured me that they could accommodate me, even though the weeding was a mere 3 days away. When I arrived at the shop, Michelle showed me selections of paper and ribbon, from which I chose a pretty cream colored paper with gold stars, with some contrasting ribbons. She assured me that they would find a perfect box and even insert some florals. Because the rain makes my back act up, I sent my husband to pick up the wrapped present that was ready just after the shop opened the very next day -- OMG! It looked like it came out of a catalog -- and it was only $15 plus tax! When I was at the store, I had inquired about personalized embossed stationary, and Michelle told me that they did a type of "reverse embossing" (I've forgotten the appropriate term, but you get the picture). I'm DEFINITELY going to explore their options! This boutique may have gained a customer for life! The amount of items trinkets clothing cards and gift ideas was remarkable. Most shops were not managed but all items were labeled and priced accordingly by their owners. The shops are all small spots that are decorated with the sellers personal touch. Conveniently nestled in the center of The Painted Tree collection of boutique goodies in one humongous shopping space, there is so much to ogle and covet. Go ahead, set an hour or two (3 if you're me) and make it a Saturday or weekday afternoon drop in spot. Take friends, or go alone. And er... consider leaving the kids at home if they like to touch EVERYTHING and will nag endlessly until they coerce you into buying it all for them. I don't know the rules to become a vendor and showcase your goods there for sale, but much of the merchandise within are handmade, eclectic, creative and so much fun. Brace yourself for the most colorful clothing, sparkly things and mischief and decor that will make your heart smile. They have the cutest handmade jewelry and I even witnessed one technician soldering a "permanent" chain bracelet on a customer. I gotta try that! There are no "workers" on the floor, aside from the tea shop workers (who are so nice!) and you just snatch up whatever you'd like to buy and take it up to the front to pay. FUN TIP: Keep your eyes open for individual shops' discount signage. I saw many "20% -50% off entire shop" signs. Wear comfy shoes and try out the tea shop if you can.

That is what the children call their collections of stuffed animals. We knew we could find something special and original here. They offer the classic Teddy Bears, but in different sizes and textures. We wanted something different...a Flamingo! This Stuffy was so SOFT! They all are really. We also purchased one of the STEM items on display because she is studying the planets and they have a puzzle/game ready to go in a cute box. They kindly gift bagged these items for us, which is a detail I truly LOVE. I also purchased some extremely warm and soft socks as a hostess gift for our Pastor's dear wife, as she deserves luxurious socks. There are so many different gifts to explore, I recommend a visit if you have not stopped by. I found my favorite journal, which I usually have to order online, right there in the store :-D We will return post haste! For example, who in the world wanted grapefruit flavored Listerine? Parking is plentiful but damn, the lot is run down so watch your step. Service is decent, selection is quite varied in particular in bedding and dry goods. As someone else pointed out, you can get great discounts on food products but be sure to check the expiration dates on some of them! YMMV but for my dollar this is a discount chain worth visiting.
