I messaged via Yelp (which he was previously responsive through), called his cell, texted ...NOTHING. Reading a previous review, looks like being a NO SHOW is a habit, even for ppl he had previously worked for. I am very glad I was able to contact someone else to do a same-day pick up else I would have been in a very bad position as I needed to vacate the house. I understand appts have to be canceled sometimes but common courtesy is to let someone know you're canceling or at least reply that you're not showing up.

Updated: Not sure…read morewhat happened here but I'm taking a 5 star review down to 3. The quality of work was good and I felt like we paid a more than fair price, but when we asked Lavern to come back he scheduled time and missed appointments again and again and now just doesn't reply, so I guess I have to move on to another service that will show up and return calls. 3 stars because if you get them they'll do good work, but not returning messages and no shows are almost as bad as not doing the work at all. We've had our fun with contractors and various people but we are very happy with the work Lavern and Antonio completed yesterday. I had a laundry list that I was given a fair quote for, and as things go, by the time they got here the how and what had changed a little bit but Lavern and Antonio knocked it all out. Here's what you get with these guys: Communicate effectively Show up on time Do awesome, professional work Fast but not sloppy They can match paint and get your materials Wide skill set Deliver the best outcome - not always the easiest Clean up workspace Work hard, all day and get the job done in one day Flexible and respectful to happenings like work from home, babies, etc. Payment options online, quick and easy. Friendly service, honestly, you feel like they really care about the outcome. Use these guys - they've been the best we've seen in contractors/handymen in a long, long, looooong time. We will use them again!

I bought a Living Social deal that was to cover 3 rooms of carpet cleaning, I was only getting one room cleaned but needed a pet treatment. He charged me double the original price to pet treat one room and then did not treat the entire floor with the pet treatment - he left residue behind on the floor and had to be called out again to correct it. In the end, his cleaning made the situation worse and he denied ever saying that his process would work, or that I paid him extra (in cash) for the pet treatment. He offered a refund, back-peddled, and then never sent it. Watch this one - he thinks he's slick!

I have two extremely large dogs and even with regular vacuuming and occasional carpet cleaning, there was tons of dog hair and dust I couldn't get out. Also some coffee and tea stains from a not so considerate renter. The difference was amazing. The first guests to walk into the house after could only say "Wow!" On top of that, he offered to come back for a follow up to help pick up any residual dust and dog hair. I really enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend to anyone.

Angel cleaning review…read more I was the "actual customer". Owner hired sub contractors to come out and clean. She does "touch ups and the things to make home shine". The efforts by the subcontractors was subpar. Coming from military, the attention to detail on the service received was lacking. Mud and dust in door frames. Walls still had mud in areas where my dogs stayed and even other areas. When pointed out the owner stated that the wall was cleaned thoroughly. She said the dirt would not come off and would need paint. She is also referring to this in her post to my wife's post. However, I told her I would get some hot water and a rag to get it up. She came back by saying look I'll show you it won't come off. Once she started to clean the wall the mud was coming up. Also, after calling my wife due to just out right fruststion, she came and pointed another spot on a door that was dirty. Again the owner said it wouldn't come off. She then actually licked her finger in front of us and to our surprise was able to get the spot up. She the stated then "oh it is coming up". The only reason I am writing this is to clarify things and also provide the "actual customer" experience. This company was way more expensive then others I researched but the other reviews are what convinced me to use them instead of others. I don't know if it was a fluke on the company's end to how the experience was but if this is any indication of how they actually clean then you are better off doing it yourself. I passed inspection however am not guaranteed my deposit for my home. The company actual told me the reason I passed was they are going to clean it anyways for a house showing to sell home. I was lucky to have the company I rent from to be selling the home I rented. Also if you leave a bad review she will offer you a refund to remove post or she will "call the rental company and see how you like that". Obvious pay for post and if you don't agree threaten you with calling rental company. Oh and after inspection she was still cleaning the floor and agreed with inspector to finish cleaning and he would go ahead clear it. She sent two attempts for "additional cleaning after inspection" and "fail to pay for services". Again this was all after my wife's bad review. Attached are pictures for the claims of $50 each time. I'm sure there is a reason the company will come up with for the $50 extra trying to be claimed. She did however waive the fee to clean the stove which we did not put on self clean and to put items in fridge in a the bags of garbage I already had in garage. That cost extra is you have them bag trash apparently. There is suppose to be absolutely nothing in house. There is nothing on website discussing additional charges for bagging trash (which I would consider cleaners to put in with a service) but there was a note to put oven on self clean. Below is my wife's post if you'd like to review that but according to the owner she is not the "actual customer" so take it as you would like. Good look on your cleaner search and hopefully you have a pleasant experience whoever you choose. Attached are images judge for yourself. The images are after the sub contractors "cleaned the major stuff" and I was inspecting with the owner. Owner wanted me to point out unsatisfactory cleaning spots so she could clean them. It shouldn't be a customers job to tell them how to clean as they are a cleaning service. There is also no balance due. Owner is trying to threaten and collect after a bad review. No admission of unclaimed balances in the post, all services have been paid in full and company is still trying to collect extra stuff. Phone calls with owner offering me "to refund $50 to take bad review down " proved to me she will pay to have reviews. I will not acknowledge anymore post from the owner nor will I post anymore. This is left here for the people to review the business. Again good luck to however is looking for a cleaning company.

(We have dogs and there was a good amount of dog hair so I told her we would go back to vacuum and carpet clean ourselves) When we went over after she left we were very disappointed with what we found. The fridge was dirty. So was the oven. The bathroom floors were still dirty. She mopped but didn't sweep first so it was just wet dust and hair on the floor. She didn't get behind the toilets at all. Every window sill that I checked was still dusty. This was a huge letdown and caused me a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety in an already stressful time while moving during the holidays and dealing with a family death and everything all at the same time. Definitely do not recommend.
