The amount of food and depth of flavor from this take out joint just amazes me. I got full just looking at all of this deliciousness and when I tasted it, I was shocked. It tastes like the authenticity of an upscale Shanghai restaurant straight outta China. So we got the combo chop suey, never had it before but I highly recommend it. Very tasty! The bourbon chicken is delish and beyond my expectations...the entire container was FULL with no fluff underneath making it look plentiful. We got a pint and a quart of house rice and you could barely tell the difference because they both were very full. The quart was a bit heavier I'll say lol and lastly we got the sweet and sour combo (chicken, pork and shrimp). The jumbo shrimp weren't jumbo at all and they were overcooked. The others were good. Their pickup service isn't bad. I placed the order online and while it was a pretty seamless process, I couldn't pay online. Oh well, such is life. We have food for the next two days and I don't have to cook lol.

Last meal of 2024, and it did not disappoint!…read more I was so pleased to see on the in-store menu that they have general Tso's tofu--a dish that was absent online. I tried that, and a wonderfully affordable side of veggie fried rice. It even came with white rice for no extra charge. Portions are generous here; I left with enough for an entire second meal the next day. I spent only 21 dollars for all that. The general Tso's sauce was delicious, but it was slightly lacking in salt, so I added the soy sauce packets that came with it. The veggie fried rice was the same. Seems they may be playing it safe since a lot of folks have become anti-salt in recent years. The tofu had excellent texture--chewy inside, crisp outside--just how I like it. The ambience is very spare and basic but they do have tables for dining in, so no complaints. Just isn't a romantic place to take a first date. It was a satisfying meal all in all. I would happily go back.

The egg rolls are mostly full of cabbage and the shrimp keep getting smaller in the shrimp fried rice so that is disappointing to me, but the food quality is above average.
