This one is for both adults and kids. It's around 20-30 mins long parade. You will get to see Mickey and most of his friends in this parade. I think they update the floats and character frequently. This edition we saw Moana, Aladin added to it. Frozen, Cindrella were there in the past too. Kids will love this. The characters on the road. It's a great experience for them. They have picked some catchy tunes to accompany with this. Show is spectacular and it will take us to a magical world! Something you don't want to miss. It starts from Fantasyland and goes to the other side. We picked our spots near the castle at least 40 mins ago to get the best view of it. But there were people waiting for it when we arrived. Plan ahead and pick a spot in advance!

    Mickey!

Magic Happens Parade is a parade at Disneyland that debuts on February 28th but I got to see a sneak peak on February 27th. It is Disney's first new daytime parade since nearly a decade. The theme is pretty much centered around magic. The parade features a variety of distinct stories with a great mix of Disney characters. Mickey Mouse leads a cavalcade of wonderfully decorated and ornate floats. There's Moana riding the crest of a wave in her voyager canoe. The LED panel of the ocean behind her shows the magic of what's deep in the ocean. Following her float, is Maui waving to guests from another float. There's Miguel from Coco strumming his guitar, who's joined by his dog Danté. Following behind is Pepita, which is held by four puppeteers. There's a Frozen 2 float with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Sven. Kristoff is seen pushing a wheelbarrow and greeting guests. The grand finale consists of a multitude of Disney characters. The grand finale floats are introduced by Genie, Aladdin, Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, Blue Fairy, Pinocchio and Fairy Godmother. We then see Cinderella enclosed in a pumpkin and for those that want to take pictures be aware that the carriage obscures her face most of the time. Following that is a Sword in the Stone float with Merlin and Arthur. It's nice to see them both as they've never been in a parade float before! After that float, Tiana and Prince Naveen are seen amidst a swirl of golden flowers where they share a kiss. In the last float, Aurora is dancing with Prince Phillip. There's a lot of whimsically costumed performers. A cast member told me that there's there's RuPaul Drag influence in how the makeup and costumes were designed. The hair styles on the costumed performers are pretty outrageous. The high-energy musical score that puts a contemporary spin on classic Disney hits will grow on you as the parade goes on. Now the songs are nowhere near as catchy as Paint the Night or Soundsational but still good. The floats were beautifully designed. It's definitely a parade to remember!

Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

The rides are definitely fit for my precious girl. She did not want to leave. The only negative I would say is that the arcade is waaay too loud. I recommend lowering the sounds of the machines if possible because even I found myself irritated inside but overall we had a great time. We'd come back again.

Our last hoorah before summer ends and back to school officially begins…read more we spent the day here today after purchasing a day pass. There have been a lot of updates since my last visit just last year. New eating space inside, additional cabanas, and the outdoor pool has also had some upgrades with new sun loungers. There's a lot to do and you can easily spend the entire day here, like we did, filled with fun family friendly activities for all ages. $40 each for a day pass, definitely worth the price for all you can do. The food situation was a little disorganized, they are revamping the food scene inside the actual water park area, but I think once it's all done it'll be fine. We had a fun day!

The not so great: Water park is dirty. Hairs all over the floor like chunks of hairs everywhere not just a strand here and there. I was disgusted walking around in my bare feet. Also, during our time someone pooped in the wave pool (like adult size). I get that this is not the hotel's fault but disgusting watching it being taken care of in a biohazard bag and the thought of: is this water recycling throughout the whole park? We left right after that (5pm) so I'm not sure when it was opened back up but I know It was back up and running the next morning. Also, we had a cabana rented. My husband thought it would be nice to be near the bathrooms, but the smell coming from the restroom was horrendous so we luckily were able to move to a new cabana. If it had been any busier, we would've had to stay there or hopefully get a refund. I agree with another review, asking for a dress code because there were some outfits that were extremely inappropriate for such a family and kid friendly establishment. It was so rude and uncomfortable for me and my children! Hotel is under construction as well so parts of both lobby areas are blocked off.

You get around 6 minutes of play time per attraction. To access attractions, you press a service button to call over an employee. It was not crowded on a Monday afternoon and there was plenty of free parking. + We started off our day with bumper boats to cool off in the summer heat. Each boat had built in water shooters. We were spraying each other and everyone got soaked. + We went on race cars to dry ourselves off. The cars were surprisingly fast. - For race cars, there was no working service button. Instead, there was a picture of a button taped to the wall which was a bit confusing. We ended up finding a staff member who let us in. It would be helpful to have a note with instructions on what to do. + The laser tag arena was bigger than expected with plenty of walls and obstacles to hide behind. There were even a couple of jump scare surprises lurking in corners. + Mini golf was fun with different colored golf balls and decorated courses. + Plenty of arcade games for all ages. - Some games were broken or out of service. + Clean bathrooms. + They sell Dole Whip here.
