I was frustrated with my hair and Heather had convinced me during my haircut appointment that a Brazilian Blowout would alleviate my hair frustrations. So, the next week I went back for the Brazilian Blowout. This proved the haircut was not good. My ends were ragged and looked completely uncut. The layers were just chunks and there were some sections that had hair 2, 3, even 4 inches different in one section. I called to see what could be done and made another appointment to go back under the impression that anyone else would be addressing my concerns. No, the appointment was made for Heather to cut my hair again. I canceled my appointment and left. After seeking recommendations for another stylist, I went to someone else who confirmed that the cut was very bad. He also told me that my hair, because it is thin, makes me not a good candidate for a Brazilian Blowout. This salon is no longer on Sawdust, it is now in the Marriott Waterway. I'm sure there are qualified stylist there, but Heather is not one of them. I also didn't appreciate that the owner, when confronted with my issue, didn't seek to correct the problem himself or even select a better stylist to correct my really bad cut.

As a first time visitor I appreciated this gesture. I visited the LIVING WHOLE COMPANY in suite 217. As the young lady showed me upstairs she pointed out the restaurants and refreshment bar along the way. Like most salon suites each is unique in their own way. I noticed many business owners tending to customers. The restrooms were clean and stocked with toiletries. I sat outside the Living Whole Company suite and waited to enter. The room was beautifully decorated - zen and quiet. Stephanie provided great service. My polish change appointment went excellent. I paid roughly $50 total. Well I end up paying 87 because i also got a hair cut too. I ask Mishea to just cut my tips which it only took her like 10 minutes. So she ended up charging my 50 for a simple hair cut. Had I known my hair cut was going to cost more then my highlights I would just have gone somewhere else or had my mom cut it. I understand prices are going up but 50 for a hair is too much.

I wanted to try new things with my hair in the ways of coloring, and Lily was immediately agreeable to any idea that I had. When I wanted to try a red color, she slowly introduced my hair to the color that I wanted so it wouldn't be a shock to me or too hard to take care of. Now years later, I'm working my way back to my natural blonde and Lily is great in making sure I'm happy with everything that we do! Be prepared to park tight because the parking is very close quarters if you drive a vehicle like mine (big). I had made an appointment over the phone which is encouraged. It didn't take long to get started my stylist knew I was there first for a consultation and if I liked what we talked about we would proceed or I would make an appointment for a later time.
