My car was driven across country, spent 3 years surviving the New England winters, and was only being washed by rain storms when parked outside. It needed a thorough cleaning inside, outside, and underside. This place did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. They even got to all the spiderwebs in the nooks and crannies of the undercarriage. Definitely recommend. read more

I just want to say first hand that, Omar is absolutely the most professional man there is. I'm always extremely guarded when it comes to getting services out of my element. I'm a young lady who knows nothing about cars. But Omar educated me on different types of tints he can do and the options he offers. He is not pushy, which is also a plus. He truly cares about his customers and his quality of work and it shows. I got my car detailed, and tinted. And I'm most definitely coming back! Thank you, Omar! I wish you many more years of success for you, your family, and your amazing team! read more

They completed the work and let me tell you my car looks absolutely amazing! I will be coming back here for detailing and with my wifes car in the near future. Had ceramic tinting on all my windows and windshield on my brand new Lexus. Also added paint protective film on my bumper and headlights. They did an excellent, high quality job all around. Got a quote from Martha. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Prices were very competitive. Omar and his staff provide great service and completed the job per the promised date and time. Definitely recommend this place for your window tinting and protective film. Several weeks later my windshield cracked due to gravels on the highway. Had new windshield installed. Went back to Magic to add tinting to my new windshield. Because this was the 2nd time, they gave me a discount on the new tinting. They also touchup the gravel scratches on my hood and added a protective film. Also at a discount. Excellent service from Martha and Omar. read more

This is one of two XPEL authorized installers in San Jose. The other one stained my door panel, so I decided to try Magic Auto Shine. First of all, customer service is top notch, from the moment you give them a call, to the follow up, to setting up an appointment, to dropping off your car, and picking it up. Second, the installation was impeccable. I have one of those cars whose windows go down a few millimeters when you open the door. The film was installed almost to the edge, you wouldn't even notice the gap between the edge of the window and the start of the film. And there is no visible gap at the bottom. I'm afraid the little rubbing in the next few days will cause the film to come off, as most of the time the instructions are to not open windows for three to five days. But we'll see. I also asked to install stone guards on the rear fenders. These stone guards came from the factory (though they have the 3M brand). They were installed and aligned perfectly. On top of that, I asked to remove adhesive residue from the old PPF, as well as prep the surface for installing the stone guards. The price was reasonable and I am happy with the results. No bubbles, no fingerprints, no streaks. If my rear window films need replacing, I will definitely go back to Omar and his crew. read more

Omar and Martha were very helpful in choosing the products. They were honest and reasonable with the quote. They carry XPEL which is one of the best products in the market. They scheduled me for an appointment in short notice and got the work done in time. Their work is meticulous and they pay attention to detail. I tinted all the windows and partially wrapped my car and it look great. The heat rejection of the films they use are really good. I highly recommend magic auto shine read more

Simply outstanding! Made a 14 yr old Maserati look brand new. Both inside and out! Beautiful job all done within a few hours. I cannot be happier! Got my car detailed here a couple weeks ago. My car had unfortunately been broken into twice last year and had some scratches on the interior from it. Omar and his team did a full interior and exterior detailing, retinted the window that had been broken and replaced, as well as did a black vinyl wrap on the chrome trim above all the windows. When I got the car back it just put a smile on my face, my car hasn't looked this good since I bought it. All the stains on the leather interior were gone (I only wear black jeans which had started to turn the drivers seat black), all scratches and marks where gone, window was retinted and matched the other window perfectly, and the wrap on the trim came out great. Overall just a great job and loved the experience. read more

Bought a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and wanted to get it tinted. I had a lot of recommendations for shops around the South Bay, and after doing some searches, I've also been bombarded with ads on Instagram. Long story short, there are tons of places, reviews to read, and opinions from Tesla owners on forums. My expectations are fairly high. A few years ago, I had my Audi tinted by a pro racing shop and spent a small fortune getting it done. This time, I had less money (April tax month is rough) and less time to get this done. I sent out a request on Yelp, and Jose from Magic reached out to me immediately with transparent pricing and also said they would stay open late to get my car fully tinted the same day. Drop off by 5 PM, and out by 9 PM. This was perfect. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive because of the fair pricing and turnaround time -- I was hoping it wouldn't be some "shop" in someone's driveway, or a clearly "budget operation". When I arrived at Magic, I felt immediately at ease. They have a huge shop with multiple bays, in a very well lit (car dealership and other auto specialist shops) area right on Stevens Creek and Bascom. Their manager Jose, and the owners (super-friendly, committed older couple that clearly cared about making the customer happy) -- were amazing to work with. They weren't pushy at all, gave me straight-up prices, and even relieved my wallet by telling me I could work with the existing rear window tints to save some money. The total amount was as promised, the car was ready on time, and they even offered a ride (I politely declined so I could walk a few blocks and explore the neighborhood shops and call an Uber). The work was pristine. The color/shade matching for front and rear side windows was perfect, and the front windshield looked as clear as new glass. As a bonus, I had some scratches on my rear bumper where the trunk closes (from luggage and stuff rubbing against it) -- I asked Jose if they could help place some protective film there and they were happy to take care of it for me. They specialize in Solar Gard tint -- truthfully, all my research had focused on 3M and Xpel, but I know that expensive brands aren't really that much better, and you forget what brand it is after driving the car for awhile. I was surprised how good it looked, and while driving to work - I was very happy with how much heat it rejected, just like promised. Even though the tint warranty is limited, Jose said their shop will stand by their work for a lifetime, and ensured it on the paperwork. I'm glad I didn't pay $1500+ at a "racing specialist shop" -- these guys knew exactly what they were doing, I paid a lot less, and the service was the best I've ever experienced in this industry. Super happy. read more

Omar, his wife, and staff are all really sweet, and they do a superb job at what they do. Im glad I found them and will continue to get maintenance done here with them. Omar is the best. His work is impeccable. I am obsessive when it comes to details and Omar is the only person a trust to take care of my car the way I do. He honors his work and won't let me leave until it's perfect. I had the car windows tinted, ceramic coated and the paint corrected. I could not be more happy. He also does great detail work. Now I only go to Omar when I need my car washed. You will not regret doing business with Magic Auto Shine. I took my car for a bumper to bumper detailing. Omar looked at my car and gave an estimate. We scheduled the appointment for the day after. Omar and his team did a fantastic job. Service was excellent - even the smallest spots were cleaned. My car looked completely new. Eve after a few days, the car still looked shiny. I received several compliments from my friends. Moreover, price was very reasonable. I compared a few places and received the best quote. Additionally, Omar offered to apply paint for small areas. The car looked totally different! My sister got her car tinted at this shop in 2020 and she liked the service. I finally bought my car this year and was looking to get my windows tinted. Before deciding on going with Magic auto shine I did some research on the other tinting shops with good reviews in the area and realized that magic auto shine was the cheapest compared to the other ones. That combined with my sisters positive experience, I decided to go with magic auto shine. Omar was very responsive and friendly. I called on 7/26 and made an appointment on 7/29. He showed the difference between each shade and helped me make a decision. Went with 70 on windshield, 35 front windows and 15 rear windows and windshield. It's been 5 days since I got my tint and I have no complaints. There is life warranty so if any imperfections show up I can get them replaced. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service. read more

I created a project on Yelp to get my new camper wrapped with vinyl - Omar at Magic Auto Shine was the first to reply. He recommended I come to his shop to see the options and quality of his work - I am glad I did as his team and expertise is just superb! He has a small showroom and showed me all the options at all price points and was honest about the pros & cons. I went for a vinyl wrap on my hood snd decided to have extra down the lower sections along the side of the camper van. Omar also showed me his other services - window tints, high-end detailing - all incredible to watch his team of experts meticulously working their magic. Based on what I saw I decided to also get my windows tinted. The final result was super clean - the quality was excellent and even friends have commented on how the install and finish is significantly better than their own vehicles. I highly recommend Omar - he is also the friendliest guy and highly knowledgeable. I'll be back to get my truck ceramic coated soon!! read more
