Mozzarella wedges

Order delivery and got a maxi traditional pizza, chicken fingers, buffalo chicken Stromboli, and mozzarella wedges. The food was great and did the job. Delivery was smooth.

I have come to this place for years with my family. The service is always great and so is the food. I would totally recommend!

Quick recap folks. Appetizers were good. Chicken Parm was good, pizza was good. The filet mignon... no. This is their second attempt at Medium rare. First one was medium to well done, barely any pink. This second attempt (in the picture)... cold red center. The edges were not even medium rare. The outsides of the meat were cold. Now dinner is over and one of us hasn't eaten. Server, not the best. It felt like we were a burden to him. When we sent back the first overcooked steak, "I didn't cook it" was his response. So sorry to come in and dine. The other folks that brought us our food, great. Smiling, happy to serve, they were great. Our server said the manager would be by, that didn't occur. Too busy I guess. They took the steak off the bill. But, still one of us didn't eat. The place is NOT busy. No apology. Now, we're just leaving, have to go get my partner dinner somewhere else. Go somewhere else. If you do visit, stick with the pasta folks, the steak is suspect.

They advertise a pizza day special, let you wait for a table, seat you and then the waiter tells you it's an hour wait for a pizza!

I got a flight of the 3 GF beverages that the make in house: a pear seltzer, a cinnamon whiskey spiked cider (Syzygy), and an apple pie cider. They were all great, but really liked the Sygyzy. I followed those with a pumpkin spiced old fashioned. All the coctails are made with liquor distilled in PA. Very nice, with a hint of vanilla. Mom and Dad got beers. For food, I got a gluten free (cauliflower crust) pizza, and mom got the gluten-ful version of the same...plain basic pie. They offer toppings, but none really interested me. Dad got the garlic parmesan wings, which he really liked! 10 per order. For the gluten free pizza, I confirmed before ordering that they don't place it on the pans with other pizza. It is cooked on its own disposable tray. A day later and I'm not sick! So for GF food options, that's all there is. But it was good! When I grew up around here, this building was part of a military research and training center. Eventually the government decommissioned it and gave us a brewery! There's more to it but if you go on a Sunday, they have tours of the whole "Fuge" (centrifuge) building that give you all the stories and history. I'm hearing it secondhand, but it sounds cool.

The moon bread was interesting, slightly too hard to bite! However, the margherita pizza was a great size & passed the flop test. The pretzel + beer cheese + mustard was also pretty good paired with any of the beer options. I didn't realize we would only be given drumsticks for the Garlic Parm wings (not an issue for me, but could be disappointing if you're wanting flats), but still good! In particular, the brownie sundae stole the show! Warm and gooey with intense chocolate flavor. Can't go wrong with that dessert!

Went on yelp, found this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Walking in the sports bar was a little tight and packed but from the dining room in the back you couldn't hear any of the noise. Rylie was our server and she was the absolute perfect server for us. We are goofballs on a good day and a walking circus troupe on others. She laughed with us, gave us drink and appetizer suggestions, helped my indecisive behind pick and entree, and quickly became part of the family. She is the type of server that you come back to a place just to see. We love you RY ; We even got to meet the chef Al, the man responsible for the kick ass brisket tacos that our group is still talking about a week later. Making it our business to stop in for his smoked wings and ribs. Do yourself a favor and stop by this "blink and you'll miss it" roadside place, you and your wallet will be happy that you did!! The floor in the main dinning room is pulling apart and is duct taped together. The chairs and tables are flimsy and falling apart. I asked for a blood orange margarita as it was the special of the day. It was not drinkable. It was some sort of powder or mix that was so sour and overly sweet. It did not have any tequila in it. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.

Mackenzie checked on us frequently but didn't make us feel like we needed to leave when we were finished eating which we really appreciated. I would say it's ok to take teenage kids, but I'd probably skip bringing younger ones. There was plenty of loud cursing going on by the regulars with no apologies, so if your thick skinned you'll be fine! The food menu is pretty extensive with a great variety of choices. I had to try out the Nashville Sliders - decent sized sliders, not bad if you're looking for a medium sized portion. Chicken was good, could have been spicier. My kid had a chicken parm that was a huge portion. We ended up taking the other half home. The chicken was fresh, (had to be breaded in-house), good roll and there was a good mix of cheese and tangy sauce. I had a fresh IPA by 2SP in Delco that went well with the sliders. But when they did, they doubled the size of many of the entrees, apps, and sandwiches. Size matters, but not much if the food isn't good. The food at Iron Oven is great. The quality is sensational. From the first bite to the half you'll take home, you will enjoy every morsel. How do I know? Name another restaurant that you'll wait to get seated at when it's not breakfast, lunch, or dinner hour on a week (work) day? When we arrived at 1 p.m., we briefly waited to get seated, as the place and the parking lot were full. When we left at 2:30, it was still jammed. Iron Oven isn't Steak 48 or The Love. It doesn't pretend to be. Put another way, imagine the casual menu of TGI Friday or Applebee's, using the same ingredients as Steak 48. Lunch will cost about $25-$30 per person. Give it a shot and let me know about your experience. In response to your request I would instruct your staff to stop congregating by the Kitchen door in ear shot of your patrons talking about their dates, families and other nonsense. I would also tell them that when ice falls on the floor they should pick it up and not kick it under the bar. These things speak to their training and their indifference towards housekeeping. BTW what seemed to be a manager, male, was also partaking in the gaggle. Not a good look.
