We only had 45 minutes to shop which was not enough time to check out everything, but with the guidance of the friendly, knowledgeable owner, we spent our time well. We selected fidgets for her, presents for her cousins as well as several games to bring on our annual family vacation in Narragansett, RI. It was great to be able to ask the store owner about items and get informed responses. It was much better than shopping online and searching for questionable product reviews. HOWEVER, the staff (2 upon my visit and 2 upon picking up the gift the following week- may have been the same people each time), were unfriendly and unpleasant, even for the short time of our interaction. If a small business is to thrive and for word-of-mouth to assist in their journey, they need to remember who they are and what they are competing against (big business booming with baby items). The customer service was exactly what you'd expect from a small shop like this; the cashiers were happy to let me browse in quiet, and engaged in pleasant conversation about the artists and items I'd chosen during my visit. However I was disappointed to find that many of the flowers began wilting 1 DAY after receiving, and this was an expensive arrangement, almost $200 I spent with tax and delivery included! I even looked up the usual length of time for each of the flowers to make sure it wasn't just me not knowing their lifespan. All of these should have lived for at least 5 days. I made sure to add water and spritz the hydrangeas too, For the price I spent I just find that absurd, especially when I can make an arrangement at home that last for at least a week no problem! It almost seemed like I got flowers that were old and left over, not fresh. Would have been a 5 star experience if the flowers lasted. But for that price I can't justify buying again from here when you might not get flowers that last more than a day sadly.
