Let me start by saying the flowers were GORGEOUS and exactly what I wanted....when they first arrived. However I was disappointed to find that many of the flowers began wilting 1 DAY after receiving, and this was an expensive arrangement, almost $200 I spent with tax and delivery included! I even looked up the usual length of time for each of the flowers to make sure it wasn't just me not knowing their lifespan. All of these should have lived for at least 5 days. I made sure to add water and spritz the hydrangeas too, For the price I spent I just find that absurd, especially when I can make an arrangement at home that last for at least a week no problem! It almost seemed like I got flowers that were old and left over, not fresh. Would have been a 5 star experience if the flowers lasted. But for that price I can't justify buying again from here when you might not get flowers that last more than a day sadly. read more

Kris Ann was amazing to work with and our flowers were truly spectacular and exactly what we envisioned and MORE. The candles were also very pretty, and our entire room set up was just STUNNING. Thank you for repurposing our chuppah. The photobooth ended up being the most perfect spot for it! I chose Fleurtacious Designs based on the yelp reviews - seeing the gorgeous flower arrangements and reading the reviews, as their website did not yet show flower arrangements. I live in California and was ordering flowers for my father's 90th birthday, who lives here in Latham. My instructions were "Love modern designs. Like inventive, unusual arrangements." I'd heard great things from a local resident about this florist. The shop is quaint and has so many cute gift ideas; from cards to soaps, and even other scented options for your home. The florist did a beautiful job with the arrangement, especially with my specific requirements (size of stems, color of flowers, price). I was a little bummed that a few of the leaves had dried brown spots visible. I'm leaving the flowers overnight for a friend. I hope the spots don't increase and the arrangement looks just as beautiful when she gets to see it tomorrow. But the flowers themselves were fresh and vibrant. First and foremost, Fleurtacious Designs makes some beautiful arrangements. The photos speak for themselves. I recently placed an order online to send flowers to a friend at home, and in the 'notes about delivery' section, I requested delivery after 5pm because my friend would otherwise be at work. I got a call the next day from a very polite staffperson who explained they don't do deliveries after 3:00pm. This surprised and disappointed me, because their website indicates the shop is open until 6:00pm during the week, and the delivery address is ~2 miles from the shop. They kindly offered to deliver to her workplace instead; however, given the nature of the occasion, I wanted her to recieve the flowers privately. I opted to have them delivered a few days later on Saturday, which was not a big deal. But unfortunately, she wasn't home when the delivery came, so she ended up having to pick them up. Bummer. They told her they added more flowers to the arrangement for the inconvenience, so that was nice. All in all, beautiful work here, and very professional staff. But I wish they specified their delivery hours on the website. read more

If you don't know what you want they will put together a beautiful array of flowers for you. The service is really good. I ordered a princess irene flower and upon delivery they recieved the princess tulip which doesnt have the purple that the princess irene. To make up for it they asked if i wanted to have purple tulips mixed in it and i said yes. When i picked it up on valentines day it was only the purple tulips and non of the princess. We thought it still looked nice but it wasnt what my girlfriend was hoping for. And on top of everything they didnt have many chocolate options and i left without a note to write on!! Beautiful!!!!! There are what you would call zero filler flowers. Designer's choice happened to be hydrangeas, cottage roses, cymbidium orchids, and amaryllis. Green, yellow, red, orange...a Fall arrangement that couldn't be lovlier. Delivered on time and fresh. I've ordered flowers from all the popular spots in Albany they may come fresh but they are always the same boring, inexpensive flowers. This place is truly unique and worth every penny. I can not recommend this florist I received a sympathy floral arrangement today from this florist and the arrangement was sparce and poor in presentation. Some of flower stems were not sitting in the vase - they were laying sideways across the arrangement. I don't know if the flower arrangement fell over in transport or was just put together in a hurry. the bow was wet and half of the bow was sitting inside the vase immersed in the water. Some of the pedals of the white daisies were missing. I called Fleurtacious Designs and spoke with Danielle - she offered to have someone come back to my home and put the arrangement back together, However, she DID NOT offer to replace the wilted flowers, but she assured me the flowers were fresh today and she couldn't explain why the pedals were missing from the flowers. She also stated that they always appreciate customer feedback and she would be sure to let the owner know my concerns. This is really unfortunate, because I am always looking for new florists to try, I like to support local business. I ordered a floral arrangement from Fleurtacious Designs in June (2017) for a friend who lives in Latham. I had never heard of them but liked the reviews I read. When I phoned, the woman who answered was very nice and helpful as I explained what I was looking to have delivered. I told her that I wanted to spend $45.00, however she said there was a $50.00 minimum. I thought it was odd but $5 extra dollars was no big deal. We went through the order and my thoughts on what I wanted the arrangement to look like. Next was the credit card information and the address for delivery. At this point I was told there was a $10 dollar delivery charge. I probably should have declined the order as I had looked prior to calling to see the distance of all of the Latham florists in proximity to my friend's home. Fleurtacious Designs was exactly one mile to her home. Since my friend was ill and wanting to send her something pretty to cheer her up I placed the order. I waited till getting my credit card statement before writing this to see if I was actually charged $10 dollars for a 1 mile delivery and I was. I ended up spending $65 dollars when I was hoping to spend $45 plus tax. At any rate, I was told the arrangement was lovely so it achieved the purpose of cheering up a friend. read more
