I hate to leave bad reviews - but sometimes it is warranted. I ordered flowers for delivery through an 800 Teleflora website. First time I ever used them. I had ordered the day before the requested delivery date on the next day. The site confirmed the order and the delivery date. Today was the delivery date. We waited all day for the delivery and Teleflora would not divulge the name of the florist they had assigned the order to. I called Teleflora twice during the day for status and was only told the order was out for delivery. They would not even give me a time window other than to say it could be as late as 7 pm. That was never mentioned when I placed the order! Well, the order finally arrived at 5:30 - after we waited all day. What really ruined the whole experience even further was that the delivery instruction specifically stated "don't block the door". So what did the driver do? Put the flowers right in front of the door so that it could not be opened without knocking the flowers down the steps! We had to go out of the house through a different door and walk around on the outside of the property to get to the door where the flowers were left. Horrible delivery experience! Won't use Teleflora again - they are not customer friendly at all - and certainly will not use this flower shop again! read more

Flowers were left on the doorstep of our apt building ... not in a box or wrapped in cellophane or tissue paper. They always use these flowers that die the next day. I told them before about these flowers dying. Tell your family members not to use TelaFlora as apparently this florist has the contract and every time I get flowers from them they start dying on day 2. read more

They were supposed to be delivered the day before the services, but I got a call literally 15 minutes before the services , saying the florist could not fulfill the order !! As much as I do not like to leave a negative review, as another person said, "sometimes it is warranted." I ordered a bouquet of flowers through Avas Flowers and the order was sent to this florist. As so many others have said, they by all accounts use dishonest tactics in their preparation of flowers in that we ordered a LARGE bouquet and instead had a SMALL bouquet sent to us. When we contacted Avas and complained, the rep from Avas couldn't even get anyone at the location to answer. I would never do business with this company again, and I encourage others to avoid them like the plague. Literally the worst florist I have ever purchased from. All of the reoccurring, negative reviews are 100% accurate. I wish we would have checked the reviews first. The pictures show what we ordered and what arrived. Arrangement looked nothing like the online order. As others have said, they do the bait and switch by substituting cheaper flowers for the main more expensive ones. Less roses than shown, dusty miller substituted with cheaper green filler, different colors than shown, and different vase because "they were out of stock". Only smaller ones were available to choose from, which were cheap looking. I called to complain and of course, as others also said, was met with rude, argumentative, and down right unprofessional attitude from the owner who first tried to blame the advertising website company. I have never been yelled at, hung up on, and treated like crap ever from a business all for trying to explain my dissatisfaction about a purchase. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. They also tried to blame the vase size being smaller than the original out of stock one, saying that they couldn't fit the same arrangement inside and had to change things, but never told me this when picking the new vase, hmmmm. I was hung up on multiple times everytime I was in the middle of explaining my issues with the order. They refused to resolve at all. We were going to start using them more times in the future, since family recently moved in that area, but after this horrible experience, we will be looking anywhere else but B Lennon. For the third time the flowers sent by my out-of-town aunt were not fresh--limp and all flower blossoms full blown or past their prime. Incredibly disappointing because this is an elderly person on a limited income so spending money for flowers that are limp and faded after one-two days is not right. Message was garbled "Luv a. Mary" (I hardly think that is what she conveyed). Terrible florist. I ordered through flowers for you who in turn gave the order to Lennon's to fill . Its my moms 73rd birthday and with covid I cant be with her so I ordered her flowers, a balloon and chocolates. The call to thank me came with "the flowers look dead they are brown and wilted. After she saw the 'what I ordered photo' she sent me a picture of what she got. Now with all the bad reviews on here I'm not surprised. First, the card attached to the flowers had " Happy Anniversary" printed on it. It's my moms birthday....Attention to detail with this type of business is pretty important. Other issue...chocolates had a paper attached with a mans name on it and the name of a FUNERAL HOME on it??? When I called the florist she said oh just tell her to turn it over and her name should be on the back...what?? What even does that mean and why?? Then she told me to text her pictures of the flowers as she is making excuses as to why the flowers are fine and then told me she was going to call my mom and they were going to pick up the flowers. I said go ahead and pick them up they suck. She never responded to the text she asked me to send with the pictures of the flowers and she never called my mom or picked them up as of this review. The company I went through who gave the order to them is refunding me 30%, giving me a $20 gift card and sending new flowers to my mom from a different florist. At least they actually care about a customer. What I would like to say to B Lennon ( Brenda) after seeing all these arrangements people got on here and what they ordered as opposed to what the got is... Please find another profession or hire people that actually know how to make an arrangement. The best advice I can give you is : Get in fresh flowers. People are paying a lot of money and expect fresh , bright , beautiful flowers not saggy browning flowers and arrangements that look nothing like what they ordered.... also don't try to take on something you cant make. Maybe you have been doing this a long time and are losing what it means to the people who are on the receiving end.. know you are making someone's day, making someone's end of life beautiful whatever the occasion you and your staff need to put some heart in to what you're doing. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. What we received as a "floral arrangement" is not ok. It looks like a child handpicked flowers out of the neighbors garden and put them in a vase. I have attached photos of what we ordered and what we actually received. We paid $70.00+ for this arrangement. We set a delivery time for 9:00am and didn't receive the flowers until 6:00pm. A chunk of the flowers were already wilted, dead, or broken. I ordered flowers for my sisters promotion at work. I went through From You Flowers. I ordered the Lovely Lavender Bouquet to be delivered in the morning to my sisters office. The flowers had not arrived and it was 1:30pm I emailed the From Your Flowers and they said they would contact the florist. The Flowers arrived around 2:30. It was a mess! Lennon and specifically picked a certain vase, unfortunately, the receiver got a totally different vase ((more of an Easter theme vase) than the one in the website. At least, I should have been told by B. Lennon florist team that the vase not available to them. When I called to inform them, I was told to call TELEFLORA and not their issue. Wow, mother of the bride here. This weekend we had the most amazing wedding and B Lennon played one of the most important of roles in our beautiful wedding. But, let me rewind to the consultation. Brenda Lennon really knows her stuff. She had great suggestions that made me smile and really helped my daughter understand the many decisions that go into wedding flowers. My daughter gave her boho examples. What Brenda delivered was well above and beyond my expectations based on our discussion and especially for the price. I literally cried when they came into the bridal suite, in water, every flower, hand picked and an absolutely perfect version of that type of flower, greenery fragrant and perfection. I cannot possibly say enough positives. You want peace of mind for your family wedding stop by. The shop is unassuming, no elegant high cost consultation room, lots of flowers coming in and out as we sat there. But she and her staff are passionate. A comment on the negative reviews IF you think the pix on 1-800 flowers or other are guaranteed, you are misinformed, every shop i the world will not be able to produce that specific arrangement with less than 24 hours notice. Second, go to the shop or all the shop directly. I never ever use those any more. Instead I all a local shop directly, the prices are cheaper, it is more personal, they will customize based on your discussion and they are always, always beautiful. Beware! As stated by another customer, if there were a zero (or more appropriately a negative number), I'd ascribe it to this "florist." I don't know what photo my friend may have viewed prior to ordering, and I wouldn't ask, as she has far more serious issues to contend with at this time. But I am certain of two things: this disaster of an "arrangement" is not what she intended, and she was cheated . My first attempt at communication found their voicemail box full. I followed with an email which never received a reply. The holidays intervened and when I did reach them by phone and reminded them that their ad guarantees satisfaction, which to me meant the sender should be reimbursed, there was no apology; no acquiescence. My offer to send a photo was accepted. The email sent in reply stated that the elements included in the arrangement were exactly what was ordered. She (the presumed owner) was sorry I didn't like it, but this was what was ordered for me. She could, indeed, send me another arrangement, but "...it would be the same arrangement." In other words, I could be dissatisfied twice. Quite the consolation! This was the worst experience ever. I was sent flowers from a friend for my birthday. I sent my friend a picture of them and she was very unhappy with what was sent. The florist called the next day and was quite rude and wanted me to count flowers etc.... I didn't but they were going to bring flowers later that day. The delivery man came (very nice man) and explained he was to take the other bouquet. I obliged but truly taken aback as this usually isn't standard practice. This business has moved to 892 Troy-Schenectady Rd. The old place smelled and was filthy. The new place isn't much better - it looks like they brought the old dirty carpet with them. The FTD arrangement I received from them was half dead (in the van out for delivery for 3-1/2 hours) and the stuffed animal that was purchased wasn't delivered. They said they'd replace the arrangement with the new flowers they were receiving the next morning and bring the bear this time. Instead of waiting around again, I called 2-hours ahead of time and said I'd come pick it up. I said I'd also like to see a photo of what my son ordered FTD so I could compare. I arrived, waited a good 15-minutes before they they handed me the bear and when they saw me still standing there they asked what I was waiting for....they didn't have the replacement arrangement ready and acted as tough this was the first they'd heard of the issue (we exchanged numerous phone calls). I was in their shop for about 45 minutes when the owner (I think) handed me a scanty filled vase of flowers that didn't look much healthier than what was delivered the day before. The woman claimed she'd given me an "upgrade" to what was ordered. I again asked to see the FTD photo my son chose to purchase but I was told their computer was down but again she claimed I got an "upgrade." Not the case. The next morning I decided to rearrange what I had and took the flowers out of the vase. The water was amber/brown and smelled. The flowers weren't cut at an angle - they looked like they'd been ripped with stringy strips (similar to celery) from the ends where torn/cut. The bulk of the vase was filled with various sized fern - none in the viewing area...very odd. Needless to say, it's no wonder they were dying/dead. What a miserable experience. read more

Lennon's Florist has the best roses I have ever seen or smelled. They get each color from the country that grows the best version of that particular rose. They are amazing! I received a huge bouquet for my birthday of 2 dozen various colored roses and not only were they the most stunning roses with the most petals (!) each had its own unique fragrance. The bouquet lasted almost THREE WEEKS!!! The vase was custom made and so gorgeous with crystals around it and the bouquet was the most stunning arrangement I have even had the pleasure to receive. The delivery person had the wrong address (off by 2 houses) and gave me, the recipient, a hard time and attitude about the incorrect address - even telling me I should contact the sender because they provided incorrect information...BEFORE I EVEN RECEIVED THE DELIVERY. Awesome. Then, when saying that I couldn't come out to meet her because I am in quarantine *sigh* and asked her to leave the delivery on the porch, there was additional irritation in her voice. I mean, the sender paid for delivery, right? So sorry for the inconvenience, lady. Geesh. Frankly, in addition to the hassle, the arrangement is cute but not the quality I know the sender was expecting. I definitely don't recommend this place. My daughter sent a flower arrangement that was to be delivered on May 05, 2020. It didn't come and so she contacted the people about it. And they were rude to her. I finally did recieve the flowers on May 06, 2020 after 6 p.m. at night. By today, May 09, 2020 the flowers are dying and look awful. My daughter paid over $30 for shipping not counting the flowers. I called today to speak to the owner who was rude to me. Telling me she took a photo of them when they left her shop. I told her did took one when we got them too. And that they look terrible and the flowers should look better for the price paid. She was like well what did you do to them? Like it was our fault. I am posting the pictures from the day we received as well as what they are looking like. My advise is they aren't professions, lack quality and most of call customer care and concern. Our friends ordered us flowers for the passing of a family member to be delivered to our house on September 2, 2021. When we were leaving our house on September 8, 2021 my husband saw that there were flowers that had been left on our doorstep. I knew they had been there a while because of the dirty water and the card stated to deliver the flowers through 9.2.21 and the flowers will not last long. When I called the florist to inquire why they were just left on our porch with no notice or left with a neighbor. I was told due to Covid they don't leave flowers with neighbors because neighbors don't usually want to accept flowers and it's also easier for the driver to leave the flowers on the porch. It would've been helpful if the driver called the house to let us know we had flowers waiting on the doorstep since no one was home or left a note in our mailbox alerting us to that the flowers were there. No apologies given by the florist and stated this is their policy therefore I would not use this florist! I've received other flowers from other florist and they either leave a note in the mailbox or they call the house alerting us. read more

My husband ordered flowers for our anniversary thru 1-800Flowers, in which Lennons filled the order...this is the most beautiful arraignment I have ever received! It had the most beautiful pink roses, along with lilys, carnations and 3 other lovely kinds of flowers in shades of red, purple & pink ( I don't know the names). They smell just wonderful and are very fresh, not to mention the beautiful pink vase that resembled depression glass! This delivery of flowers was definitely a delight!!! Not to mentioned that when they delivered them, we were not home, but they called our cell, as it was Hot and they did not want to leave them..luckily we were a few minutes away and the driver put them in the shade. 5 Stars for Lennons!!!! read more

I received two flower orders in the past week from this florist and both looked absolutely horrible - I couldn't even tell my aunt or my best friend who sent them as I didn't want them to be upset. The arrangement that I received yesterday had pink roses which were brown around all the edges and other purple flowers that the petals were literally falling off as soon as I picked it up. I am going to call them this morning and update this review later with how they responded. Well I spoke with the owner and she said to send her photos of the floral arrangements but mentioned if her flowers were bad that they would not be in business for 60 yrs. I emailed the photos and she did call me back within about 20 minutes and said that the roses that I received were flowers she just got from her distributor yesterday- I told her I personally would have sent them back. However she did offer to replace the arrangement but I declined because I was not looking for free flowers but rather for her to be informed. STAY AWAY ! STAY AWAY ! STAY AWAY !!!! My sons, unfortunately, purchased me flowers from Lennon's for Mother's Day. The flowers, almost instantly, started to deteriorate. By the next day, they were visibly dying, and completely dead by the next morning. I contacted Lennon's to voice my concerns and displeasure. The woman I spoke to was both argumentative and insulting, insinuating that we did something to kill the flowers. I explained to her that I often purchase or receive flower arrangements, and am well versed in caring for them (not being rocket science, after all). After great debate, she agreed to deliver a new arrangement to our home the next day. She took the address information, and NEVER made good on her promise to replace her ROTTEN flowers.
