I haven't bought a new car from here, but I have dealt with the Service department several times…read more They have done a great job keeping my old car on the road. It's old and they don't make 'em any more, but the staff at Paretti have never given me attitude or shown any reluctance to work on it. This has happened to me before with other old cars (I keep them a long time if I like them) and service attempts at other dealers (I don't keep them if I don't like them). I find I would rather bring my Mazda here than the local shops I use for my other vehicles. The showroom and waiting areas are modern and clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and they don't treat me like an idiot who doesn't know anything about cars. The sales guys always try to sell me a new one to replace the old, but they aren't pushy about it. The service work has been great so far - no return trips to straighten out something that didn't get right the first time. I will gladly go back again. When my car finally dies I might go buy the next one from them.

STEALERSHIP! let me…read morestart by saying I had a pleasant time dealing with the sales folks, nothing wrong there. Don't.....DONT even think about dealing with service at this place. I had a FAULTY cracked infotainment screen which Mazda has admitted it is such and I called up the corporate latter and was told it's typically a $500-750 fix (not great but i figured typical dealer markup) , so I go set up a service appointment at the dealership. Ask the service rep how much just to confirm, she goes typically between $500 dollar mark. NOPE NOPE NOPE. THIS STEALERSHIP WANTED NEARLY 2K to fix a screen crack on a screen the size of a IPAD mini. I talked to the rep and she's like don't worry we can definitely lower the price on that. I go look at the price breakdown and they had me near the $400 range for labor ALONE! For what Mazda claims is a 30 minute fix and I even found the technician service guide (all they do is replace the unit with the SAME FAULTY UNIT) they can't be bothered by taking 2 seconds to take the 2 SCREWS off the display and replace the screen (25-100$ DIY Fix FYI). After I called out the service manager about the labor he told me he dropped the labor price! After checking it went down $100 bucks. YA BUDDY STILL 290$ FOR A 12 MINUTE YOUTUBE VIDEO JOB, HOW MANY MAZDA TECHNICIANS DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE A SCREEN. In the end they still wanted nearly 1400 to fix an iPad! Do not service your car here. Wouldn't trust them to fix a damn thing. I'll drive to Gulfport and go to Jay Allen Mazda before I even think about Paretti.

Bought a 2019 Ford Ranger. It looked good and drove nicely. Roy said it belonged to a friend of…read morehis. He said his friend actually traded it in and than came back and bought it. Than later on came back and traded it in again This can't be true. Let me explain I let them do the financing thru a credit union. Six months later I decided refinance it to get a much lower interest rate. That's when I found out the truck was not driven for 3 years. The new finance company showerd me the records on a milage report. That also explains why rats had ate up all the wires and plastic under the dash. So how did his friend trade in truck come back and buy it again then trade it back to him. This cost was $8000 to get fix. Warranty did not cover this I had to go thur my auto insurance. Roy said why didn't i tell him so he could have help you with this with the warranty. But warranty strictly covers mechanical break down things like that. So he could not do a thing. First issue with Roy is told him a number of times I didn't want Gap insurance. He gave me four options and what the payments would be. 1. Just the purchase of vechicle 2. Vehicle with gap. 3. Vehicle with a warranty. 4. Vechile with gap and warranty. I picked vechiel with warranty. I wrote down what my payment would be. When signing the contract the payments were the same as he quoted. When it came to the Gap part he said this is where you sign saying you do not want Gap. So my husband and I did not look at it good, just went on what it said. Look at paper work it is misleading. There is a box you check both things are on the same line. YOU WANT IT OR YOU DON'T. We continued to sign as directed. It's a lot to read and they know that. We had to sign for the warranty also. That is where they explained how the warranty worked so there was a lot to look over. That part was ok. Then he came back with the Gap packet that is stapled all together separately. Not realizing it was about GAP. WE had to entitle a lot of places there. But since we had been talking about warranty not thinking or reading it was about Gap. Note I told him so many times I don't want Gap. This was only $995 but I think he wanted to sell that Gap because I got him to come down on the price of the truck $1000. So he figured a way to get the money he wanted. When I went up there to cancel everything I talked to him about the Gap issue. He came out with a piece of paper I had never seen before. There were our initials. My husband initials were like this T.A.B. Dots end between, he has never did that before on any paper work before and not on this contract either. Plus all of the cost are outlined in the loan papers are itemized it doesn't state Gap. It states Preferred Administrators. What would you think that is? Of course I would not get full amount because six months has went by and we used the warranty one time to replace a part that was bad. The warranty was $3499 we got a check for $2277. This was for six months of having them when it covered four years. I called the warranty people National Auto Care to see how much they wrote out check for. They told me they do not write out a check or have nothing to do with the amount the dealer which in this case is Berryland motors takes care of that. I called Roy he said right the opposite. National Auto writes him a check then they write one out to me. I called the warranty people back tolk to someone else they told me the same thing they don't right a check to the dealer. Who is lying. So we have a lot of deception and alot of not telling the truth. This might be part of the game to Roy and seems normal but it is underhanded and bad business. What really bothers me is they have a CROSS on the corner of the business. I'm so glad I decided to refinance the loan I would have never know these things about this business. I suggest get you own financing and read all paper work and get help understanding it. No matter how long it takes. There is much more in the contract paper work I have learned since i read it well. I have not got back money for gap yet he conveniently forgot this. I made another mistake I had to sign a paper to cancel GAP the paper work was blank he just said sign this in a hurry. No telling how he filled it in. He did the same on the Warranty paper work also. I was hesitant to sign but I was pressured and really fed up with this man he prays on good people who just want a nice ride and wants to believe people are honest. This man is not. I probably won't get much back for Gap they prorate it and the dates he will fill in on that paper I signed. It is totally my fault for being stupid or if there is some kind of law would someone let me know. It is so true about this place when they say car sales men coning deceptive and I don't know any nice terms for them.

Buyer beware! This business engages in unethical and deceptive behavior. I bought a 2007 Chevrolet…read moreAvalanche from them in February 2023. When I bought the vehicle both the dealership and I believed the power steering motor was near needing replacement. They dropped a couple hundred dollars off the price of the vehicle to cover that repair. This shows that they understand the right thing to do is to make sure they are selling vehicles that can actually be used. Within a week of buying the truck, it became clear that the problem was the transmission, not the power steering motor. This makes the vehicle undrivable. This is also an issue that is not reasonably apparent when the vehicle is inspected at the dealership by an average person considering a purchase. I spoke with the salesman who told me that they never would have sold us the vehicle if they'd known the transmission was bad. This again demonstrates that they understand they need to sell working cars and trucks. The salesman said he would talk to his manager to see what he could do. My request was to split the repair bill; I didn't demand they cover it all or try to return it. That request is more than fair. After not hearing back, I contacted the salesman who told me the truck was sold "as-is". I expressed my dissatisfaction with that response and he said he would ask the manager to contact me. The business has yet to reach out again. I pulled the paperwork for the sale. There is a warranty sheet with a large box checked next to "Implied Warranty Only". Louisiana law says that sellers have an obligation to provide vehicles in good working order and the implied warranty covers those things that couldn't reasonably have been known at the time of purchase, like an imminent transmission failure. The deceptive and unethical practice concerning this form is that when you sign it, they don't explain that the smaller text at the bottom of the page waives this implied warranty. It is a misleading document that supports a bait-and-switch, and they do this intentionally. They show a huge box checked next to an implied warranty and then quietly trick you into giving it up. They know what they are doing is wrong because they won't return calls and they admitted that they wouldn't have sold me the vehicle if all the facts were known. I certainly wouldn't have bought the vehicle had I known the transmission was bad. This business has turned out to be the stereotypical shady used car lot, and I strongly recommend anyone avoid it.
