This is authentic as it gets. We came on a Saturday afternoon, ordered at the counter and waited…read morefor our food to be delivered to our table. There was a consistent steady flow of customers, eating in and picking up orders to go. On this frigid day I think that is a testament to the quality of the establishment. The decor inside is delightful, they have potted plants hanging from the ceiling with vines sprawling out, growing along strategically placed lines across the ceiling. Several playful piñatas are strewn about. It was a quiet, calm atmosphere. Even with the grills and ovens clearly cranking the dining room was chilled. Handmade signs are everywhere most in Spanish, with some English translations underneath. Laminated menus are also available. We waited what I thought was an appropriate time for our food, the items were brought out at separate times. One item completely forgotten, so we took it to-go. Fine though we were stuffed with what we had. We had ordered one steak and one shrimp taco (3 of each came out) definitely a miscommunication but sour cream on the side was noted and came on the side. We also enjoyed chips with a spicy green salsa, along with a voluptuous chicken quesadilla.

Every bite tasted homemade, not rushed or generic like big chains. The food was authentic, delicious, portions were huge, and the quality really stood out. On top of that, the people were kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do, which makes the experience even better. If you're looking to support a small business and enjoy amazing Mexican food, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll absolutely be back. i could not take pictures due to me diving in the food as soon as it was ready . i recommend eating theere while food is hot

La Capital Tacos is the place to go for genuine street tacos in Troy. Every time I've gone the food…read morehas tasted fresh, and the tacos/burritos have been delicious. I can put down quite a bit of food so if I order the "three traditional tacos" then I'm usually left wanting just one more... so I typically go for the burrito to try and fill up a bit more. The chorizo is delicious and seasoned very well. The salsa verde that is served with each taco/burrito is also delicious. During winter they put up some "bubble" tents outside with heaters. They don't have much seating inside and if the restaurant is busy then you might be caught in a pickle... but I've been lucky enough to find a free table here reliably. I've been visited by out-of-state friends a few times and I typically introduce them to this restaurant (as one of my local favorites) and they usually love it.

I was so glad to have dinner there recently. Delicioso! My friend ordered the three steak taco dinner while I had the three chicken taco dinner. Then, we traded one. The tacos are served on small corn tortillas. It generally takes more than one taco to feel full. The steak tacos came with wonderful melted cheese and a beef dipping sauce. The chicken tacos came with salsa verde, plenty of cilantro and chopped up red onions. We each had a Margarita which are awesome, too. The staff is small but friendly and efficient. There isn't a lot of seating inside the restaurant. Just a few tables. Most of the seating is actually in the outdoor patio. In cold weather, large clear heated plastic bubbles or igloos are installed on the patio. Each holds a table and enough seating for several people. It's incredibly cute. There's even table service, but most people ordered take out and then walked over to eat in the bubbles. There's also parking on premises which makes the dining experience very convenient. We ate-in and had a blast. I look forward to coming back. They don't take reservations but guests are encouraged to call ahead to ask about seating.

We have been numerous times but sadly this was likely our last…read more La Fiesta isn't a restaurant we would go to on our own. There are other Mexican restaurants closer to Albany with some great vegan options and I would even say they are owned by the same parent company. Typically the reason we go to La Fiesta in Clifton Park is because we are meeting someone who isn't vegan and we're finding a place we can all find something on the menu. La Fiesta boasts several vegan options on the menu, they even have vegan cheese and seitan (meat substitute). Many places will just give you a bean and vegetable option and omit the cheese and sour cream but charge you the same price and call it vegan. The service is great, the waiter was very attentive. The one thing that caught me off guard was when I asked for hot sauce, he asked me bottled or house-made? I thought, house-made sounds like something I need to try and ordered it. He could have warned us it would be $2 extra, I still would have said yes but we were surprised to see it on the bill. I enjoyed my potato and spinach enchilada dish and my wife had a good amount of guacamole and chips before her Vegan Fajita Quesadilla arrived. The quesadilla was one large tortilla folded over in half and stuffed with peppers, onions, and mushrooms and what should be vegan cheese. She only ate a quarter wedge and a few bites of rice before she was full. As we felt fine driving home but I started to experience heartburn which since being on a plant-based diet for nearly 10 years only happens when I eat something non-vegan. My wife was sick during the night and throughout the entire following day. We are convinced there was some cross contamination in the food or worse, her quesadilla was made with real dairy cheese. This isn't the first time we haven't felt well leaving La Fiesta's Clifton Park location. Maybe it wasn't a fluke and there is room for improvement in kitchen practices to prevent cross contamination, maybe we just have bad luck. We can't keep going there if we're going to get sick everytime. If you don't have food allergies or sensitivities I'm sure you'll be fine. Otherwise La Fiesta really lives up to the name. Friday evening, the restaurant was packed, there were people waiting at the door, drinks were flowing, and the music fun.

Upon arrival you'll receive complimentary chips and salsa. It was fresh as the chips were warm and I could taste the fresh ingredients in the salsa. We ordered the carne asada and the Baja tacos (and the enchiladas verdes to go based on hot good the food was). The carne asada was fantastic, and it came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The Baja tacos were delicious and came with a super spicy sauce (they did have a lot of onions which was my only drawback). We ended the night with a special strawberry tres leches for Valentine's Day. It's not something I would have typically ordered but I do love tres leches and this did not disappoint - it was amazing. All in all excellent food you'll be glad you came for the food! A few other notes- the inside of the restaurant is pretty and draws on what I've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Staff were so friendly and had the perfect balance of checking in with us to letting us eat our meal. There is a small bar area that is separate from the dining area. Street parking only but there seemed to be plenty of spots. However, I would try to park as close as possible to the restaurant as the neighborhood itself didn't seem like the greatest. We had no issues during our experience but just something to consider. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely return!
