First off, I heard "Tombstone," and I thought this was going to be some hokey-pokey Western joint…read more But I was pleasantly surprised by how cool Tombstone Brewing Company is. The place was clean, decorated really well, and had a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and provided quick service. Now for the food... I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and that thing was amazing. The bread was toasted to perfection. The chicken breast was big and juicy, just like my wife's. Had my mouth watering. The aioli sauce was absolutely delicious. They also gave me a massive pile of fries. I could barely finish them. I ordered the beer cheese for dipping, too, and it was amazing! Overall, give this joint a try. It's easily the best and most modern spot in Sierra Vista, AZ.

I stopped in Labor Day (9-7-26) to try out the Happy Hour from 4-6pm. I had been going to the…read morelocation in Tombstone and was hoping the beer selection was the same. It's not. Of the 18 beers on tap, five were sours, three were imperial stouts. I really like the Blood Orange Wheat at the original location. The only one I saw on this tap list that I like is the Czech Pilsner. I wanted to try something new so I had two new to me beers, the Golden Eagle ale and the Blonde ale. Both were light on alcohol and taste. I sat at the bar so service was top notch. It wasn't very busy for a late afternoon. Two women next to me had been there a while and were on the loud and tipsy side. The much heavier one even broke her pint glass. The bartender took it all in stride. I ordered a burger special, the Garden Crunch ($17.99) with a side of home-made chips. It's a smashburger with arugula, chopped pecans, cream cheese, watermelon (very thinly sliced) on a brioche bun. The specials are not posted on the regular menu. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the taste and texture of everything mingled. Service : 5 Food: 4 Beer : 3

I walked into this small place early afternoon on a Saturday. The woman at the counter recognized…read moreme from a local hiking club. "Are you with the Sierra Vista hikers?" she asked. Oh no, I thought, is that a good or a bad question. "We hiked up Huachuca Peak" she reminded me. That hike was in early 2020, before the pandemic. Then I remembered. She blazed up that peak faster than me. She also remembered my German Shepherd dog I brought on that hike. Even my dog beat me to the peak. I didn't want to tell her that I have six German shepherd dogs. Kim only has one. This woman, Kim, is not the owner, but a friend of the owner who is currently in Korea. We had a nice conversation about Korean and American food and we both giggled at the differences between the two cuisines. I have been a fan of Asian cuisine for several years now. I ordered a cheesy spicy chicken, It came out fast. Kim insisted I have some water and gave me a bottle of it. I'm glad she did, as the cheesy spicy chicken lives up to its spiciness. The portion is big enough for two meals. The hot pepper dominates, but the cabbage and chicken also stand out. The wall decor includes photographs of Korean landscapes and villages. The dining area otherwise is simple, with a mostly white color dominating. There are two non-gender specific bathrooms up front. I enjoyed my meal. I will try the spicy chicken tacos next. Kim offered me some Korean coffee after my meal, but I declined as I only drink coffee in the morning and I didn't want to be up all night, but she insisted I take some instant Korean coffee with me. "You must try this with milk!" Kim said as she handed me four packs of Maxim coffee, "my husband uses four of these per 16 ounces." I'm glad she told me how much water to coffee ratio to use, as the directions on the packet are only in Korean.
