I'm from out of town and just got engaged, so I wasn't familiar with the dress shopping process or what to expect before coming in. Looking back, I wish I had been a bit more prepared, but since this was my very first appointment, I honestly didn't know much about styles or dress lines. When I arrived, I was hoping to explore and learn more about my options. Unfortunately, the questions I was asked felt overwhelming because I simply didn't have the answers--they expected me to know about specific dress styles and have dream boards ready, which was confusing for a first-timer. On top of that, the experience felt disorganized. There wasn't anyone ready to assist me with fittings, and the staff didn't seem fully prepared. The most uncomfortable moment was when I was asked to take off my sweater near the front door for measurements. When I asked if I could be taken somewhere more private, like the back, it became clear that customer service wasn't a priority. Given all this, I felt unwelcome and decided to leave, though I appreciated the time they spent with me. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others, especially those new to the dress shopping journey.

I showed up a few minutes early, had to wait around for a bit to be assisted - that was no problem, I was happy to wait. I got checked in and then was escorted to the back by the shoes, and was told someone would be with me shortly. I felt like a lost puppy back there, feeling awkward just waiting for a consultant. Finally after 10 minutes, I was assisted. The first consultant I had was VERY amazing (I wish I could remember her name!) and the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one. It was my first time wedding dress shopping and I went alone because I wanted to narrow down what I liked without any outside opinion. The first consultant was so kind and supportive and gave me a bunch of options to try. As I was in the dressing room trying on my last dress, I opened the door to a new consultant. I thought that seemed odd as I had one more dress to try on, but everything there seemed rushed and disorganized. The new consultant was extremely rude. She kept emphasizing the fact that I was there alone, which made me uncomfortable. She then asked when my wedding date was, I told her June. She proceeded to stare at me as if I told her my wedding was tomorrow. Overall, I couldn't WAIT to strip out of my last dress as I felt humiliated! The kicker was, as I was on my way out the door, I casually browsed the racks of dresses to see if there was anything else I liked. I had some other lady come up to me and rudely told me "I couldn't look at those dresses, I could only browse the ones at the front of the store". There was no sign, no indication that I couldn't just look around at the dresses, I was in no one's way. Immediately, I left on the spot. As a first time experience, this shook up me a bit. Luckily I had an incredible experience at a local bridal boutique which was a stark contrast over how I was herded here like a sheep. I would not recommend this location at all.

Short story: RUN AWAY NOW. If I could give zero stars, I would! You will not be treated with…read morerespect. Horrible service. They talk down on you. We were rushed out of there. And they do not care what you are looking for, only what THEY think will look good on your body. Long story: We booked an appointment at Susan Deborah to look for a wedding dress. We entered the store and were met with the older woman (presumably the owner) and did not even get a 'hello'. No small talk, no 'how are you', not even the question of what type of dress are you looking for or talks of budget. Off to a great start. She immediately brings the bride over to some dresses and starts looking at them. The woman starts pulling dresses, still not really saying much or asking the bride her preferences. The bride starts talking about the style of dresses she likes. The woman responds saying how she will pick dresses that she thinks will look good on her. Ok, judgy. Next, the bride mentions her budget. The woman turns and says "All our dresses are made in the US and are high quality. For your budget you can get a dress from China". She turns and continues to pick out dresses for the bride without considering her thoughts or opinions. So, after learning her dresses are all $3,000 + we (bridesmaids and family) start pulling dresses ourselves. This is one of the brides' first appointments, so we are still trying to figure out what fit and style she likes. We explained this to the woman. The bride asks if we can just leisurely look around and pick some dresses. She snapped back and said "NO do not touch the dresses. I am trying to find something you can afford." Looking back, I'm not sure how we didn't walk out right there and there. Onto the dress fitting, where the bride tries on a couple of dresses that do not even fit over her head. She is very average sized, maybe a size 6, but I think all the dresses in the shop were a size 0 or 2. At one point I go to grab a dress that looks like something the bride would like. The woman comes over and says "No, she can only try on 5 dresses". She did not tell the bride this. And what shop has a 5-dress rule? So, what next, if we didn't find The One, we're SOL? It was obvious she just wanted us to leave. I have never heard of booking an appointment for a time frame yet only being allowed to try on a certain number of dresses. We were out of there within 15 minutes. We all left angry and frustrated. What a waste of time. To the shop owner: Do not treat your clients like they are lesser than you. If you were welcoming and listened to the bride's preferences, you never know, you could have sold the bride on a dress over her budget. I do not know how this woman keeps business. Please save yourself the stress and DO NOT GO HERE. You will not be treated with respect.

A plus size girls dream!! I had gone to a few shops in the Buffalo area where I live (even the…read morefancy ones), they don't carry enough larger sizes so trying to imagine what they will look like is hard to do when they are TOO SMALL. Most were strapless and I am busty so strapless was not going to work, most of the other shops kept telling me I could add straps (which didn't feel like they would give the support I needed). I started a google search for plus size dresses and found one from MORI LEE that I loved online, I found that Bridal Belle had it in stock in a larger size than I needed but at least it wasn't smaller. When I went in my sister had a list of others she found online (as did I) and we gave them to the Consultant. The dress I came for was good, but not "THE ONE" however my sister and I both had another style from Mori Lee on each of our lists!! And as it turned out that was "THE ONE". Travelling the hour back and forth to Buffalo wasn't a big deal, they were always very accommodating and their location is right off the I390 so that made it easy. When the alterations needed to be done they made sure I was totally satisfied with every aspect of how the dress looked. I feel because it was a smaller non fancy shop they catered more to me then their needs. One of the fancy stores I went to made me feel like I didn't belong there (Like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman). I am a big girl and probably didn't fit their idea of a bride. But Bridal Belle was awesome from the first time I walked in, to the last day I walked out with my beautiful dress.

My friend is getting married next year and the 4 of us went here so she could try on dresses. The day was already dreary and rainy but walking into this place probably made it more depressing. The warm welcome wasn't as warm as we expected, the cabinet full of dolls kind of creeped me out but that's besides the point. My friend explained what she was looking for and her price range and then we were told to sit in the corner and wait, so we obliged. She eventually walked out in a pretty decent dress (not the one) but when she was going to stand on the pedestal they brought out this little round stool for her to stand on. We were afraid if she moved she was going to fall off and rip it! Really? You don't have actual step up areas that you can at least feel secure if you turn around? There was no music, no fuzzy feeling to the place. After talking to the wedding specialist, I wanted to go because she didn't seem interested in helping her since her budget was on the lower side. The woman didn't even ask if she wanted to try anything else on with a slightly higher price range or do anything to encourage her to keep looking. She tried on 3 dresses and then it was well your price range is kind of small sorry about that, good luck. Don't visit, there are probably better places in the area that feel more warm and welcoming.
