I feel compelled to warn everyone in the Bridgewater community about a terrible experience I've had…read morewith a local business owner, Murad Taher at M&M Smoke Shop at Valero Gas Station on 1068 US-22 in Bridgewater, NJ and 291 US-22 E Green Brook, NJ. Earlier this year, in January and February 2023, I sold him a large inventory of exotic snacks. Initially, he paid for half of the order, but despite countless attempts to resolve the issue, he has refused to pay the remaining balance--over $3,000. What's even worse is that he's still selling these products in his store, essentially profiting off goods he hasn't paid for. To me, that's as good as theft. This kind of dishonest and unethical behavior is unacceptable, and it's really disappointing to see it happening in our community. I've tried every way possible to resolve this civilly, but nothing has worked. It has been a year of "brother please give me more time" and many countless excuses. I'll now be involving the authorities and filing formal complaints to hold him accountable for this fraud. To my fellow vendors and business owners: please be extremely cautious before doing business with him. He has even tried paying with checks, but they bounced. This is not someone you want to trust with your hard work and products. It's sad that I have to post this, but I feel like everyone deserves to know. Let's look out for each other in our community and stand up against unethical practices like this. He has done this as well to two previous owners who also held complaints against him. She not only helped me choose from their lovely array of glassware something that fits my needs and my budget, but she helped me get some additional products to help with concerns I had like avoiding throat irritation and limiting smell, while still keeping price in mind. Proper cleaning products for my new pipe, plus an electric grinder when I discussed my struggle grinding with a metal grinder, and so on, including products I didn't even know existed like the MouthPeace that filters out tar and resin. At the end, she even threw in some hemp wicks and an anti odor spray for free! The handmade water pipes are all gorgeous too, and I'll probably end up saving up to buy one someday.

I didn't receive that coming here. This place had a nice interior with beautiful art pieces on the wall. When we walked in, myself and my partner were greeted nicely but there was an assumption that we should know what to do upon entering even though this place opened up in December of last year and we have never been there before. The main interior is laid out very nicely with an informative and detailed book about the strains. The music was nice too. It reminded me of the trap museum in Atlanta if you've ever been. But the main issue came when we tried to ask for recommendations from the person at the register. They weren't as informative or helpful as I'm used to when searching for a new product. It felt like my few questions were stressing them out. Even though this place advertised a wide variety of options, the items we thought we wanted were sold out. So when we asked for substitutions, it seemed like a hassle and strain for the employee to help accommodate us. All in all, the place is aesthetically pleasing and the products seems pretty good but the service wasn't what I expected and if you are new to THC I would not recommend it.
